Uly was so great!! We came for a work happy hour/my birthday, unplanned, with a LOT of folks. He was so chill about it even when we ALL descended on the bar at the same time. The drinks are great and reasonably priced, especially for center of downtown. The food is just ok - like most hotel food - but not bad. But we love the view and the vibes!
We came on valentine day and got the pre fixed courses for dinner. The selection were great and food tasted good. I'm happy with the service from the server as well. However the portion of the food wasn't equal. One of the courses was lamb rack and the portion of my plates vs my wife were different again. My lamb rack was undercooked and I asked for it to be cook just a bit more. The manager told me they couldn't do anything about it because it was “pre fixed...
We typically go to Carolines prior to events downtown. It always delivers and this visit was true to form. The food was delicious. We shared the baked goat cheese, grilled shishito peppers and ahi tuna poke tacos. I had the arugula caesar and caramelized parsnip soup for my main. Others had the chicken schnitzel, the Brush Creek wagyu burger and the Caroline salad. All super yummy! The service was excellent! This will always be our go to place downtown.
