I made reservations for four several weeks ago to enjoy Thanksgiving at Caroline. The food was excellent, and our waitress provided great service. The Coffeehouse at Caroline is a charming coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Austin. It offers an inviting atmosphere with a variety of seating options, including covered and uncovered areas, long tables, small tables, booths, couches, and benches. The space has a fun vibe, featuring games and a pool table, perfect for relaxing or hanging out.
The menu features good coffee options and great-looking food, including tacos, corn dip, bean dip, and guacamole with chips. The food and drinks are generally delicious, though some customers have noted that the coffee can be a bit strong and the service can be hit-or-miss, with some staff being more attentive than others.
Despite these occasional hiccups, the Coffeehouse at Caroline remains a popular spot, especially during busy times like ACL weekend, when it becomes a bustling, chaotic place with a great patio and giant Jenga sets. The atmosphere is lively and cute, and the space is perfect for those looking to enjoy good food, drinks, and a fun, relaxed vibe.
