Located in a casual, eclectic spot with a California coastal vibe, Wahoo's Fish Tacos is a relaxed and easygoing restaurant with a Mexican base and other influences mixed in. The vibe is great, with lit trees, a large outdoor patio, and a very casual, laid-back feel. Diners love going for the amazing food, great service, and incredibly ambience. The menu features generous portions at an inexpensive price, with favorites including the tacos, tortilla soup, enchiladas, taquitos, chicken teriyaki bowl, and vinaigrette salad with SO GOOD dressing. The mango beer and great margaritas are highlights. Staff are nice, helpful, and positive. Even close to closing time, service is excellent. When a mix-up occurred with a burrito missing guacamole, the problem was solved without question and without charge. Another diner received a chicken enchilada instead of beef, but it was handled properly and not charged. The owner and operator have been known to stop by to introduce themselves and chat. Wahoo's is a solid, affordable option for a quick bite or small plates without spending a lot, and many make special trips from Dallas for this wonderfully delicious and healthy meal.
