Whataburger Reviews
Tonight was the kick off to ACL and everyone is hungry after. We ordered through the app to pick up in the drive-thru; however the line not only wrapped around the building, it backed up to the light at the entrance of the shopping center. Went inside to see if I could just pick it up at the online order spot and the employee with the piercing under his eye was epic. Whataburger, a popular fast-food restaurant, offers a mixed dining experience. The lobby is of decent size, and the food is generally good, often coming out faster than at other Whataburger locations. The staff is satisfactory, though they tend to be more engaged with each other than with guests. The hours of operation, from 7 AM to 10 PM, are considered reasonable. The breakfast sausage biscuits with grape jelly are a standout menu item, but the burgers are not as well-constructed or fresh as those from competitors like In-N-Out or P.Terry's. The French fries, when ordered without salt, are a tasty option.
Customers praise the impressive service, with employees working hard to get orders out quickly. The restaurant is a popular stop for travelers, providing a place to rest and enjoy good food. The staff is described as polite and friendly, and the food is consistently fresh and fast. The kitchen can be lively, with some customers noting that the morning shift can be noisy and the service slower, while the afternoon shift offers a cleaner, more welcoming environment with fast, hot, and fresh fries. One customer shared that late-night staff took care of them just right, providing good vibes and excellent service, while others expressed confusion over the high praise for Whataburger, mentioning their own poor experiences with dry buns and bad-tasting meat. Overall, the restaurant remains a convenient spot for a quick meal.
