I was really looking forward to trying Whislers in Austin based on all the great things I’d heard. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the hype due to the service. I tried getting a drink but was blatantly overlooked, despite it not being too busy. However, when my pretty blonde girlfriend gave it a shot, she was served immediately. It was disheartening to see such a clear difference in treatment. I hope Whislers takes this to heart and works on treating all customers equally, because everyone deserves to enjoy their time out
Pretty great hot spot in East Austin! The vibes are always pretty relaxed and the drinks are delicious! Recommend trying their Echo of a Scream, Ambrosia, and Bed Head drinks. All pretty good selections! Usually doesn’t get too packed, even on the weekends so it’s a great hangout spot. Plus there’s so much outdoor seating.

Wicked spot. Has a dark cellar kind of vibe, with comfortable lighting and layout. Excellent bartenders, and cocktails! The Le Lit, Barefoot & Pregnant, 22 Special, and Echo of a Scream were standouts. Highly recommended.
