I want to start by saying how tasteful everything is when I order but unfortunately I believe since the last few times I've ordered in a row this past week sept 10 I started having symptoms of food poisoning so I'm not sure if there needs to be an inspection for proper temperature hence these kinds of things could really be lethal. Luckily I survived but wanted to make sure everyone could continue to enjoy that delicious food and sauces you guys carry.

I am a regular customer and recently, i’ve noticed a real drop in the quality of the food i’ve been ordering here through DoorDash and Uber. It used to be really great, but lately the portion sizes have shrunk, and the overall taste and quality just aren’t what they used to be (I always order heavy sauce and the food comes out super dry). It’s honestly been really disappointing.

This was my first time trying Wow Poke. The customer service was okay, but I honestly don’t understand the hype. I asked for sauce on my poke bowl, but it didn’t come, so the bowl was really dry. For almost $18, I expected more flavor and better quality. The food also upset my stomach, which has never happened to me with poke before. I was really disappointed to have wasted my money, especially since I hate wasting food — this bowl ended up in the trash. I was excited to try this place, but it just wasn’t worth it. I’ve had better poke in Austin and other cities.

Honestly, this is probably the best poke I have ever in Austin. Everything was fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. I really loved the spicy tuna and toasted garlic combo. I could not save half my food for the next day I had to eat in one sitting because it was that good!!

I ordered online and picked up.
Poke bowl was ready ahead of time.
By the time I brought it home, it still tasted fresh.
Bowl was huge, so you can make 2 servings or share.spam musubi had a tad too much rice, but good tasting. This is a food truck w a picnic table near the street.

Okay I’ll preface this by saying I was thee BIGGEST Wow Poke fan. I think I went 5-6 times a month within the last year. They were always so quick when picking up, friendly, and the bowls were high quality. They never messed up my order.

However, things have taken a drastic turn. The last time I ordered I went with my usual build your own with spicy ponzu salmon. I kid you not I bit into 4 PIECES OF THE SMELLIEST, FISHIEST SALMON I ever had in my life. It ruined the entire bowl for me. It cause me to gag that’s how bad it was. The mango was also very hard in the bowl. After looking over the salmon I realized the fish was just plain bad. I ended up throwing my whole bowl out.

A couple hours later I threw up so much at my house and got a 24 hour bug.

I’m extremely upset the quality has gone down so much. I don’t know what happened. I used to bring all my friends here. Now I am truly so scared to eat any Salmon from anywhere after that experience. I rarely eat fish anymore.

I tried writing this review on door dash where I usually order from and it wasn’t allowed to be seen.

IT IS A SAFFEY HAZARD. Seriously people. Be careful. It ruined sushi for me and Poke in General. I’ll never forget July 12th because I vomit truly just thinking about it.

I used to order from here a lot but the taste and overall flavor has diminished a lot. My go to choice is to make my own. The crab salad has changed drastically, the spicy tuna is not spicy at all, and all the fried stuff tastes like it's been fried with 3 week old oil, it's pretty disgusting. I am so bummed the quality has lowered so much, I used to love this place, now I can't even finish my poke because it tastes disgusting.

My girlfriend and I visited Wow Poke today at 6:30 PM and unfortunately had one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever had. Upon arriving at the window, I greeted the cashier with a friendly “Hey, how are you” and was met with a blunt “What’s up.” I then politely asked for boards to write down our orders, one for me and one for my girlfriend, but was only handed a single board.

I filled out my order on the board, and when my girlfriend started telling her order verbally, the cashier interrupted and said she needed a list. We calmly explained that she had only given us one, and her response was “So you want another one?” At that point, my girlfriend asked if there was an issue, as the tone and attitude felt dismissive and rude. The cashier replied, “I just asked a question,” and smirked, which came across as passive-aggressive and completely unprofessional.

I’m not sure what caused this behavior, but we left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. As paying customers, we simply expected common courtesy. Sadly, we won’t be coming back after this experience.

Best poke in Austin. The truffle ponzu tuna — WOW. I could eat that every day. Every ingredient is so fresh and well prepared.

I ordered create your own bowl, it was so pretty and even more 😋. But I must say I had teriyaki chicken and it did not look pleasing to the eye it looked old and just OFF, so I really didn't eat that part , my dog wouldn't even eat it. But the rest of the bowl was delicious..
