Used to love this place.Then I learned that they fry their Ziki bites and falafel in BEEF TALLOW, which as a vegetarian, you simply cannot have.I’m bummed out that now no vegetarian option truly exists.

First let me say I get it, everyone has bad days but come on Ziki! This was my first time ordering from here so I was super excited to try it. It was after 10pm and I was searching on DoorDash somewhere to eat and figured try something new, be a little healthy. I ordered my meal and it arrived promptly to my house. Love using DoorDash but this experience is exactly why I have trust issues!!! I got a byo bowl with gyro and opted to add chicken for an additional cost (+$4.50) . Bowl did not have the chicken, and the gyro meat was completely flavorless. The pita bread looked amazing in the pictures, let's just say it definitely did not in real life. Although the flavor from the spices it was coated in was good, it was way too tuff and stale. I could barely chew it, ended up not being able to eat it. Also ordered their Greek salad, which I've been craving for a while now! It was okay but there was way too much feta cheese, I'm usually the more the merrier when it comes to cheese, but the feta left a bad taste in my mouth. I had to pick around it but there was so much it just mushed into everything. The icing on top of the cake was ordering a water, just to receive no water. Highly disappointed because I'm paying a good amount for this meal, I'm not expecting it to taste like rainbows exploding in my mouth, but I do expect to receive everything I PAID for.... Didn't get a picture of the bowl bc I dug right in, I was too hungry. All in all, pretty terrible but that's just my opinion from this experience, don't think I'll be giving it another chance. Most of the reviews on here were good so it gave me hope, but I think what happened is they don't care about delivery orders, not seeing the customer I think gives them no encouragement to send off the bag made right :(

The ladies that were serving the food were very nice, and the gentleman behind the register was very helpful when he pointed out that I was about to purchase an expired product, and helped me get something more up to date.

The food is amazing. No seed oils, grass fed and local meats… I mean what more could you ask for? People complain about the price but it’s silly. Real whole food is gonna cost extra but the expense is worth it. The service is great and the staff is sweet and helpful. Cute little place to eat outside with benches and a great place to people watch. This is my go-to location but other locations have been great too, this one is just my personal favorite :)

Always a go to for a healthy lunch or dinner. 10/10 Recommend customer service is always great. The South Lamar location is always quick and easy and the vibes are always cool.

Ziki is one of my favorite healthy meals in Austin, with the caveat that the location you choose will determine the deliciousness level. The south Congress location does not use enough salt, whereas the south Lamar location NAILS it every time! The feta is amazing paired with the pork, but if you prefer a less "sweet" meat I'd suggest the beef or chicken. The burger isn't my favorite, but I still get it from time to time to switch up the protein options. The food is always ready in the predicted time frame and the service is always friendly.
