Disappointing experience. I’m one of the few left in this area for the holidays and many places are closed. I decided to try this place for breakfast for the first time. I placed my order online and walked over within 15 minutes and received a text that my order was ready. I went to the pick up window and waited but no one came over. I walked inside and asked where my order would be - the person at the front desk said they would call me when it’s ready. I explained that it was a pick up order and she repeated the same thing. I went over to the counter where the food is prepared and didn’t see anyone. I tried to get someone’s attention. I waited a couple of minutes before I saw that my order was in fact ready and was sitting under a heat lamp. I picked up the order and again tried to get someone’s attention because a couple of items were missing. It took longer than necessary and was unnecessarily confusing trying to pick up the order and make sure everything was in there. After all that, the food was cold, flavorless, and somehow wet and soggy. Heat lamps do *not* always ensure food stays at the correct temp which was very obvious. It was wet and soggy from the watery lettuce which was likely just washed and put directly onto the food with undrained pico. Not a great first experience!

I came to Zombie Taco in emotional shambles. I had just discovered that my girlfriend and my best friend of 10 years were doing extracurricular activities together (group project I was NOT invited to).
I went for a drive to clear my head when—out of NOWHERE—Mother Nature dialed 911 on my digestive system. I pulled into Zombie Taco with one mission: find bathroom, save life.
After successfully surviving what can only be described as a Category 5 internal hurricane, I figured I owed the establishment at least a purchase. That’s when KEVIN appeared. Kevin—angel, legend, mixologist therapist in disguise—made me the best spicy margarita I’ve ever had and tacos that touched my soul.
Somewhere between sip #3 and taco #2, I forgot I had been emotionally betrayed. I was reborn. Enlightened. Taco-healed.
I walked in heartbroken…
I walked out ready to start a new chapter…
Chapter 1: Kevin is my new best friend.
Zombie Taco didn’t just serve me food—
They served me closure.
Go here. Ask for Kevin. He heals

The food was so good. Atmosphere is fun. I’d go back again. Hate trying to park in the area, but that’s always an issue near the University.
