The quesadilla platter was ok. Not a lot of cheese on the quesadilla. Could barely taste it. The black beans were liquified and the rice was cold. We also ordered the spinach and chicken salad and the chicken was little slivers of dried up chicken in the lime vinaigrette sauce. It was over powering. Wouldn’t go again for the price we paid.
All I can say is I enjoyed my meal. The Charro beans were awesome. They had quite a few different menu items that you wouldn't expect. They also had vegan options for the picky lady in your life ?. The price was very affordable. Id say it's a good place to stop and have a bite to eat on your way home from work while you let the mopac traffic die down.
This place kind of seems like a McDonald's or Mexican food by having been there more than 10 times I definitely love the efficiency and the simplicity of the menu. Everything is very authentic and the folks that work there are very hard-working with a very traditional Mexican feel to the food.
Parking is easy and it's right off mopac so kind of a perfect spot for a more wholesome lunch if you're in the area.
