This place was awesome. You get out of it what you want. If you go in without a chip on your shoulder looking for new friends in a local, dive bar type of place, then you are in for a great time! The Chicken Fried Steak and Hamburger Steak dinners we ordered were among the best we’ve ever had - even if we were served on paper plates! I called when i was a couple hours out still to see how late they would be open. Woman on the phone said “until I’m tired”. I loved that immediately. I called again when i was about 8 miles out and ordered the chicken fried steak to go with Mac and cheese and cabbage. All the food was excellent but the cabbage was out of this world good. It’s hard to get a good meal this late at night as a trucker and i really appreciate it. Thank you!
