“I mean Dayum! I was heading up the 95 from Sherwood Forest Faire today and need led a solid bbq meal. Most places along the route were closed, so after some logistics I ended up here right before closing. The dude working the place was super amazing and brought my food to the car. The brisket was divine and I ate it with my hands, dipping in the perfect bbq sauce.I’ll definitely be back soon!My only wish is putting Mac and cheese on the menu pleazzzeeeeee! Thank you”
“Officially on our map of places to stop whenever passing through! Locals are lucky to have such a cool shop!Kid-friendliness: Games and books available. Great place to just hang out.Dietary restrictions: Sugar free flavors and milk substitutions available.”
“Food is top notch. The pastries (kolaches, muffins, turnovers) are all made from scratch and literally melt in your mouth. We got our peach and blueberry kolaches still warm from the oven and they were delicious! The cherry on top is that this is a family run restaurant driven by a mother/daughter combo. Worth the drive.”
“The Healthy Hornet is a fun and exciting place to visit. Juan and Marisol are so knowable when it comes to making drinks! I love the Cookies and cream shake to get my day started!”

“Had no idea this place was here until I was it on google maps one day. The beer is ice cold and they have draft beer in CHILLED glasses. Nice little spot where they don’t charge you to play pool or play the juke box. Definitely stop by and say hi.It’s filled with locals so everyone knows everyone. We enjoyed it.”
“Such good food! We've tried their burgers, fried pickles, their shrimp basket, grilled cheese with bacon, and taco salads! Myself and my children loved it all! The lady misty I think is her name has taken out orders each time and is so nice! Definitely worth stopping in and checking it out!”

“Authentic Mexican food with homemade tortillas, and a colorful patio with Mexican pottery. I tried the menudo (awesome spiced broth and the tripe was skinned just like my mom makes), barbacoa and gorditas. You could tell everything was made from scratch and with lots of love.”
“It was Thanks to Claude Jackson that this restaurant even existed when he started selling Tamales by the Hair Salon. If not for this place Holland would have lacked a Restaurant when Gommert’s caught fire. Claude was a good man and my family was there since 1960s or earlier.”
