“First time at a Dutch bros and went right after I left DFW. I didn’t get his name, but the guy at the window was the funniest guy ever (wouldn’t be surprised if it were same guy as mentioned in the other reviews). He has a mustache and I think mullet hair. Best way to be welcomed to Dallas! Wish I could get the golden eagle every day in my state.“

“This place was super chill and I will definitely go back. My only hesitation to visit was wondering if it was dog friendly. I did not see anything mentioning outdoor seating or being dog friendly. The most disappointing thing about my visit was arriving after dropping my dog off at home only to find that it is in fact dog friendly and had 2 dogs inside. The drinks were good and tasted better than the straight Kava I have made at home in the past.

My coworkers and I have frequented this coffee shop for months, finding it a great spot for our lunch breaks. However, recent experiences have been disappointing. Prices increased by 20%, allegedly because they no longer charge extra for special milk, according to a barista. Additionally, new baristas are inexperienced, leading to inconsistent coffee quality, and the shop sometimes has an unpleasant smell, more like sewer gas. I noticed this smell during my visit today. If the owner is reading this, I encourage them to visit the shop to check for the smell.

On the plus side, the more experienced baristas have always ensured our coffee tastes great.

These issues are slowly driving us away despite our previous loyalty.“

Parking: There is two rows of parking. One is smaller and next to the parking lot window. The other is larger but across from the building. I would recommend going through the takeout line in your car instead. It can get packed during rush hours.“

“Avoca has some of the best iced coffee in Denton. My go to is the iced vanilla latte with oat milk or the TX Bourbon butterscotch iced latte with oat milk. They usually have a decent pastry selection as well. The atmosphere is great for meeting a friend or just relaxing by yourself with a morning coffee. There is an outside patio also. The barista’s are really nice and know their coffee. Highly recommend!“

“I ordered my coffee online like usual. The dive-thru was very backed up so I decided to pick it up inside and wow! They were getting murdered! I felt so bad for the young lady that was making the drinks. She was alone! She was also the only person acknowledging guests walking in and saying “hi, I will be right with you!”. The lady at the window sounded very kind but I feel like she could have asked the window to hold one minute and help with the orders? Not sure how Starbucks works but that seemed like the intelligent thing to do. There was another very young girl on food and she looked completely lost. Not acknowledging the guests walking in, not offering assistance not even offering to ring up any of the 4 parties in the store. Definitely understaffed. I wanted to jump back there and help so bad!

Anyways, kudos to the barista actually making the coffees. She was working on 9/5 at 6:45am. I think she should be recognized!! If I could say one thing, I wish she acknowledged the guests standing at the pick-up area. All of us needed simple things. (Drink holder). Understandable though. That looked like a “walking out” shift for sure.“

“Top notch bike service! They give you realistic quotas on time and stick to them. Easy to communicate with and get updates as well. The owner even allowed me to schedule ahead and drop the bike like a reservation. This helped out greatly with a tight training plan and race schedule! The prices were also extremely competitive and much lower quoted than other places. I highly recommend Velo Cafe for your next bike repair. I’ll update a review in the future with a bike purchase when the time calls for it.“

“Let me tell you guys about Sara's Donut story ! My 6 year old loves Donuts, she doesn't like cake or other sweet treats. She is all about the donuts. So every year on her bday we do something donut themed instead of cake. I placed an order over a week at another local donut place for Birthday donut letters. I was suppose to pick up at 7am today. At 5pm yesterday they messaged me saying they were so sorry but because of unforseen circumstances they couldn't fill my order. I was crushed! They are another local family owned place and I won't bad mouth them because i believe something truly just came up. But this had been my plan for her. I immediately went on Google and typed in Donuts near me. After clicking on 5 different websites and not seeing anything about birthday Donuts I finally clicked on Sara's I immediately saw on her page she did them. I messaged her at 550pm and by 635pm she had messaged back she would be happy to do it! I was thrilled!! got there in just over 12 hours later to perfection. I only ordered "Happy Bday" in hope less letters would be as difficult as a last min order. She made all the letters and didnt charge me for the extras. She said just tell your daughter happy birthday. she went above and beyond for us. Everyone please support this business she is truly amazing!!! ❤️“

Located on the second floor of the Birch tennis facility, the shop provides a relaxing environment and entertaining view of the tennis action from the balcony. We enjoyed hearing from Jordan and Jericho about where the beans are sourced, how the coffee is made, and the story behind the family owned business. Goes without saying- the coffee is more than excellent. We will be back!“
