Wanted a little sweet treat and stumbled upon this little business that offers Hispanic deserts. Also noticed they have a small store in there but it’s probably only open in the day time. Both the banana split and apple con chamoy were huge and delicious. Don’t expect fast service, but they make up for it in their low prices.

For the name being Hay Elotes i expected the elotes to be the best thing but they aren't the best, there very watery and lack flavor.

Over the top Mexican desserts and a small, but good taquiera menu. It's its own kind of wonderful.

Food pretty decent I wanted to sit down and eat inside while my food was hot and fresh but both elderly ladies that work there have an attitude problem not friendly at all very rude so I just took my food to go I almost cancelled my order but I still decided I wanted to give the place a shot but with that kind of customer service definitely not ever going back and I would not recommend to anyone!!!

Just give this location my last chance to get better the snacks used to be really good but lately the lady’s that work there are super rude make everything in a rush and poorly , I asked for a mil shake which tasted like ice cream blended with water the cup wasn’t even full and they don’t even put whipped cream or anything also asked for a mango smoothie which I confuse with a mangonada when I asked if they don’t put chamoy the skinny old lady told me in a rude tone you “you asked for a smoothie not a mangonada behind you is chamoy put some in “ I was in shock because i get it that it was my fault and I asked for the wrong item but again I just asked if they don’t put it on the smoothie I never asked her to put some on it or take it back or even complain i literally just asked her the costumer behind me seem to be en a of the way she talk it back to me I’m so disappointed I really just to enjoy going there.

The family and I were craving tacos. We decided to finally try Hay Elotes and I'm so glad we did. It was exactly what I wanted. We ordered 2 of the family taco packs- one with pollo and the other with asada. My husband tried their burrito and strawberry smoothie, both were also good. The portion size for the price was worth it. We'll definitely be back.

The pizza birria totally hit the spot! It was enough for two & packed full of meat & cheese. The consommé was rich & flavorful. Great service. Can't wait to return to try the other birria concoctions & the rest of the fun menu items!!

This is an iconic staple of Mexican culture in bastrop, I originally tried the Austin location but had to check out the bastrop location. I’m excited to know their quality and service is still amazing.
It’s affordable, quick service and yummy!!!

Poor customer communication
They look like you the customer is bothering them from their time.
No thank you, have a great day or even come back and see us. It was our first time at Hay Elotes and we will definitely not come back. I would rather spend my money at Koko’ where their atmospherei is better, nicer and better vibes.
