An Absolute Gem in Bastrop
This place is legendary. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years, and it has never disappointed. The Smoked Boudin is my personal favorite, but honestly, everything on the menu is top-tier.

A quick note—this spot used to have hundreds of glowing reviews, but when the original owner sadly passed, his son took over and had to restart the Google reviews from scratch. Don’t let the current review count fool you—this place has a long-standing reputation for excellence.

If you’re anywhere near Bastrop, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t regret it.

Honestly, it was amazing!!! I was iffy about getting some Louisiana food from a restaurant in Bastrop, Tx, but no mistake was made! I’d definitely try it again

James took care here at LeJeunes. I got two boudin valls with pepper jack in them!!! Fantastic.

I also got a quarter pound of cracklings! Best in Texas!!

Tasty food and friendly service. The smoked boudin is very good. The sausage gumbo is also great.

Parking: Not really any dedicated parking for restaurant. You can park infront of the store.

Was my first experience with Ken. Everything I had was wonderful. Just like being back in Louisiana when I lived there. Had Gumbo and Jambalaya, what few Cracklins he had left. Lotsa flavor !
