Hamburgers are to die for- really good!
Place is dirty- I don’t think floors are ever cleaned. Bathroom has caked dirt and grind especially in the sink. Window sill where we sat was filthy- dead flies and dust. If you can get past it- hamburgers may be worth it.

This place is awesome! Went there for the first time tonight though I've passed by it for years. Been missing out this whole time... If you're passing thru Bastrop make sure to stop in for a burger. Excellent! 👌

I thought everything was great except the food. My ribeye I asked for all the way done with no pink came out medium I sent it back and it came out medium well. I then thought I'll just get the burger and fries. I ordered something different and the burger came out medium also!!! I was like NOOOOOOO

Loved the cream cheese jalapeno burger. I added bacon. Service was a bit slow at first, but it was a busy night. Also I saw other people with steaks and they looked good. Overall recommend

Fun & rustic burger joint on the way to Bastrop from Houston. Not our first time. I got the cheeseburger (swiss) with avocado and he got the chili burger. Both yummy. Good fries, too. Wait staff work really hard.

My husband grew up near Bastrop so any time we are back in Texas visiting family, this is an absolute must visit. The salads are, dare I say it, as big as Texas and so delicious. I especially love the Cobb.

The last time we were in town we stopped and had the black bean nachos with grilled chicken and I was actually nearly brought to tears. Delicious cheese, perfectly grilled chicken, and crunchy salty chips. Nachos to me are one of those things that feel simple, but when they’re done well, they truly stand out. And to the contrary, when they are bad, they are truly bad. Roadhouse knows what they are doing. The staff is no frills but friendly and this is a great stop for anyone who wants a great quick meal.

Small town restaurant with excellent food. Homemade salsa. The very best philly cheese steak sandwich I had in Texas.
