My philly was possibly the worst sandwich I’ve ever had. It was so salty i couldn’t eat it & the bell pepper was raw like it was inly there for color. The fries were clumped together because they had been thrown frozen into the fryer that way. The salad said dried fruit…just put dried cranberries. Maybe this place is okay from the reviews but my experience was horrible for a $16 **** sandwich.

Flavorful, hearty, wholesome, delicious food, all at a reasonable price. Service was great! White cheddar cheese curds with house made marinara were a tasty appetizer. I had the smoked turkey sandwich, the sea salt and pesto really came through and made it pop. My girlfriend had the Caesar salad, she appreciated the smokey flavor but also wished for some anchovies. We are both pretty critical when it comes to food but we were both happy to have found this place. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been wanting to try this place since it opened so I was excited to go. We came in march 1st around 830 and there was one other table. The waitress wasn’t rude to us but she was certainly not friendly. She obviously didn’t want us there. They were out of spinach dip and pretzel bites which was disappointing. I ordered the 1836 burger and my daughter ordered the caprese. The meat on the burger is super thin( think McDonald’s). You get it cooked exactly the way they want to (well done), pork was dry and I was surprised there wasn’t any sauce. Just very bland. My daughter liked the caprese. She said there was a lot of bread but the bread was goodOverall, I was disappointed. It’s a shame

If you are looking for a great brunch place to eat, then look no further! My girlfriend and I love to come here. We definitely recommend this restaurant to all of our friends in Bastrop and the surrounding areas. They only serve beer and wine, they have mimosas on Sundays when they serve brunch. Any server that helps you will definitely make sure that you are taken care of while you’re there. So if you find yourself in the area, and you have a hankering for some brunch, stop on in!

Stopped by last night as we were driving around looking for dinner. We read something about them having the best fried chicken in Bastrop but I guess they no longer serve it.Ended up getting an order of fried cheese curds and 3 of their honey mustard chicken sandwiches.Fried cheese curds were great and the sandwiches were “so-so.” Instead of a nice piece of thick chicken breast, it had two thin chicken tenders sitting side-by-side with a piece of provolone, a small piece of iceberg lettuce and some tomatoes on top. Not what you’d expect for $15 a sandwich. That’s Moody Center pricing. They were good - the place was clean and the bar seemed to be hopping. But in the end we walked out having spent $60 (before the tip) for 6 chicken strips and some cheese curds. I didn’t feel like the value was there.

Waitress was nice but not adequately trained. Greek salad had no dressing. Stuffed mushrooms tasted like they were stuffed with dog food. The wine was good but expensive. We went back to our hotel and had trail mix to top off our meal!

Wife had a veggie sandwich. She thought it was very good. I had a burger. No flavor at all. No seasoning at all. Bun was dry. No mustard or any kind of dressing. The cheese curds were mozzarella balls deep fried. Flavorful but very chewy. Only one person working the dining area. She was bussing tables, waiting tables etc.

Me and my partner went in for a drink, we walked in and didn’t get greeted, we didn’t get asked if we wanted to order anything we stood there and the staff just stared at us. We felt very unwelcome and decided to leave! We were excited as we were told this place was great but after this experience we don’t think we’ll be back.

Last minute date night choice. Simple little place. Service was good along with the food. If you are a grazer like me, the medi board is perfect. Hubby said his Philly was flavorful.

This spot was on point, I was nervous when I pulled up the menu on the website, it definitely was things I didn't want for breakfast. But walking in u get a menu and it was some good breakfast that Butterscotch Pecan Pancake was pretty darn good. Shout out to the young lady who works there, she ran outside to give me my car keys. I appreciate that!!! Keep your amazing spirit!! This place is a hidden gem in Bastrop TX
