We Slaughter Barbecue Reviews
Amazing brisket! Easy to get to and great staff 😙
They have the best brisket that I've ever had. My husband and I stayed in the cabin for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The staff was awesome. We enjoyed talking to all of them. I didn't get their names but I would like to thank them for an awesome stay. And I absolutely LOVED the cats. We will definitely be going back ASAP
Me and my buddy Randy had a blast staying at The Gas Station this past Wednesday night. The cabins are great, bathrooms and shows house are super clean. Also the BBQ is very good and the actual store is full of great horror products for any horror fan! I highly recommend anyone to visit and even stay the night at the Gas Station.

We Slaughter Barbecue offers an enjoyable dining experience with its great BBQ, excellent service, and fun horror-themed atmosphere. The brisket, chopped beef, and sausage are praised for their deliciousness, while the coleslaw is fresh. The restaurant also features a spacious patio, making it a great place to visit with friends. Customers highly recommend trying this unique barbecue spot. Inside, diners are greeted by Texas chainsaw massacre memorabilia, masks, action figures, and merchandise, creating a rustic and spooky ambiance. The place is located five miles down SH304 from Austin on Highway 71, with no gas station nearby, so visitors should come prepared for just BBQ. The restaurant offers covered outdoor picnic tables, with orders placed inside at the counter and then directed to the back to pick up food or rent small cabins for overnight stays. The cabins are available for $79 per night Monday through Thursday and $129 on weekends, but need to be booked in advance. Brisket and sausage are the only meats served here, with the brisket having a good solid smoke ring and being very moist and flavorful. A two-meat plate with two sides costs less than $15, making it an affordable choice. Customers can enjoy their BBQ with one or two of their very good sauces. The jalapeño sausage isn't very spicy, and the sides are quite average, but overall, visitors find this place worth the trip and look forward to returning.
