Hands down best BBQ I’ve ever tasted! I would normally drive to Spring and go to Rudy’s to get my brisket but after trying 1701 this is my new BBQ spot. The beef rib is amazing and the chicken is just yummy. The Mac and Cheese was on point. The staff was very friendly and even offered to help bring the food to my car because I ordered a lot. Job well done!!!! I will return and soon! 🩵🦋🩵
Came here for lunch and I can confidently say as of now this is my favorite bbq in the Beaumont port author area. The staff was nice and the food was good. They have a nice shop that smells great as soon as you walk in. My favorite part was the jalapeño sausage. Had great flavor and a good snap.
The BBQ and service is hands down five stars. The cost is one star. Lunch really was great and I will remember it over the next 20 years as I am paying off the second mortgage I had to take out to pay my bill. In their defense, I did not catch that the rates are by 1/2 lb, not by the lb. Great BBQ, but not worth twice the price of any other BBQ that I have had. And…. If you like sage and rosemary in your rice krispy treat they are probably great.
