We went with our friends Kenny & Dena to eat at Charlie’s Bar-B-Que & Catering this afternoon in Beaumont. It is some of the best BBQ around. While eating we seen a picture of Charlie and Aaron Franklin standing together under a tent. Charlie’s wife came over to ask how our food was and I asked her about the picture, she proceeded to tell us how they received an invited to cook at Aaron Franklin’s BBQ cook off in Austin, she was so nice. Well I just got a double brisket plate with the side and a drink. When I got home I open the plate and took a bite of the brisket and I tell you they were so tender. Everything was so good and delicious. I will continue going back. I recommend this place to anyone. Great service and very respectful staff.
This is my favorite BBQ in SETX... chipped beef, ribs, and a leg quarter. I always get extra sauce on the side... their sauce is so good. I have never tried any of the sides cause the meat is so good.
