“Service is for sure 5 stars. The gentleman that helped me out with a togo order was very helpful. It was going to be 15-20 mins for my order so I ran across the street to grab something while I waited, he ended up seeing me pull back up and he went ahead and brought my order to my car! Plus, gave me a few pointers on trying out their first sauce to test for heat level tolerance and reminding me to give it a few mins to cool due to them being fresh. They only have chicken and pork options right now. I had a number of people tell me they had veggie ones before I got the chance to visit, but apparently they were having some quality control issues with veggie so they have stuck with the two they have now. I do hope they bring the veggie one back! My husband enjoyed the ones we did get and he said he would keep it in his rotation for lunch stops, especially due to it not being to far for him to go.“

“I come here during Ramadan for the buffet and when I say this food is as good as the food your mom will cook for you I mean it. Absolutely delicious they have all the options and everything feels truly home cooked couldn’t recommend this place more. I don’t like going out during Ramadan but this place is the exception.“

“Me and my friends go to place for dinner. I have a usually very high tolerance for spice an thus fell in love with the Hell’s kitchen platter from here. Still one of the spiciest things I have ever tasted. They also did give discounts for students from UTA.“

“This place is delicious, 10/10 we had the beef and chicken platter with hummus. The ingredients are fresh and the teas are great. Go easy on the red sauce though it’s a little hot but the flavor is worth it. The chocolate cheesecake baklava was a nice way to end the meal. You definitely get your moneys worth here! Music is a little loud but I’ll take it for the good food you get“

“I'm visiting Tx and was craving Somalian food. Found Cafe Medina online. Took mom there as a surprise because she never tried Somalian food before. The restaurant is small but beautiful! Clean and inviting. There is a small prayer area blocked off for privacy. The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious and mom was so pleased, she is already talking about returning! “One of the best Dumplings I have ever had! Bought the Pork and Chicken, and absolutely loved both. Pork is better, but both are delicious. The sauce is a bit spicy, but very flavorful, definitely the cherry on top. Service is great, very kind, and pricing is good. Must go back for more!“

“We went for Iftar buffet last minute for two people. I'm so happy they accommodated us even then. It is such a beautiful restaurant. I missed home and this restaurant reminded me of home. The food was scrumptious. I don't think words can describe the experience, you have to come here to know that.“

“I have only been here once. I ordered the Korean chicken nuggets with the garlic soy sauce, which comes with rice. The chicken and sauce was great. The rice wasn't warm enough for my taste. Service was great and my friends sandwich looked amazing, so I'd like to go back and try that.“

“Food was delicious and service was great, but it was too pricey. I got the chicken biryani and it was over $15 (advertised on the menu as $13, but then they charged me extra for rice??? I believe that was an overcharge because biryani is just rice). The portion they gave me was enough for two people. They should offer smaller portions sizes at lower prices.“

“This is second visit to this market no we will forever be their regulars. They have high quality Arab, Turkish, Iranian and Indian goods. I’m Turkish/Persian and they had such a great variety of the staples in our household. Fresh butchered meats, fresh cheeses, bread and delicious hot made food. They even gave us Falafel and a garbanzo bean dish on the house. Everything was very well organized and easy to find but the owners were still checking on us and if we needed anything. Exceptional and kind owners.“

“The chicken is hot and crispy. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sando with Medium spice. My wife had the 4 Chicken Tenders. We both shared the Loaded Fries, which was tasty and satisfying! The food is certainly pricey ($39 for 3 food items and a drink), however the portions are big and sizable. I finished half my sandwich and my wife ate 2 chicken tenders. We have enough leftovers for dinner. The Loaded Fries were worth the visit overall and we thoroughly enjoyed the sauce. We definitely plan to return!“

“Went on a quest for one thing and found this place along the way. It was probably almost twice as much as I wanted to spend on lunch, but it was worth it. When I eat food from other cultures, I want to eat at the place where people from that culture spend their money. Most of the tables were seated and the only English I heard was when the guy behind the counter spoke directly to me. The entire experience was the most peaceful and satisfying part of my day. ?“
