“I found them at the Market in the Bayou on Monday's at Raven Tower. They were the first one to greet me when I entered the market and I got a fruit drink that was very refreshing and tasty. Then I bought their chicken salad. Boy do I believe it won the best chicken salad award for three years in a row in Bellaire! It was really tasty. I just wanted to taste a bite, but then I kept coming for me and eventually finishing out the whole box!“

He was quick to reply and answered all my questions.They did a great job preparing food that we selected, including items that were not normally on the menu! Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the late night bites! They were well staffed and more than prepared to handle our event of 250 people. “I celebrated my birthday with around 25 people at my house this weekend and was amazed with the food and service. The Heights Catering was super helpful and communicative since I booked them a few months ago, and the food attendants and bartender were amazing. Everyone was so helpful to make my birthday a success, and left my kitchen organized and spotless. They even helped take the trash out and packed up leftover food for me. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Chef Brian, Vanessa and the whole team.“

The catering services was on time, set up was professional, and most importantly, the food was delicious. We had a traditional Thanksgiving with turkey, ham and sides. Everyone commented on how well seasoned and tender the turkey was.

It is nice to have a full buffet style set up with tray warmers, tablecloths, serving utensils, plates and plasticware all set up for us, and full clean up at pick up.

The website is nice, but I called in and spoke with Sabrine to discuss the order. Overall, the ordering process was timely and fair. They charge a deposit and final billing after services are rendered.

I look forward to using them at our next event.“

Their tasting and decision-making process is exceptional, and we enjoyed every tasting session throughout the wedding planning process. They provide a wide array of choices to sample from and assist in selecting the best meal presentation. The Chicken Wellington Tower was SO GOOD! Their food is perfectly seasoned, tastes fresh and not processed, unlike many other caterers we tried. Van and Rachel's communication was excellent, and they promptly addressed any questions we had. They were able to accommodate our guests with multiple dietary restrictions. Moreover, they assisted with serving the cake and cleanup, and their staff was highly professional. “I’m not sure that I could recommend this place. The food was good, however I was with my 5yr old daughter and really felt like we were rushed. I understand we can’t possible order up a tab that much but we surely didn’t deserve to feel rushed. We split a salad and the meatballs. The main dish came out literally 2 mins after receiving the salad. I don’t know about this place. Slow it down.“

“I have never been so happy to write a review. A Fare Extraordinaire catered a recent party I had in my home for 30 people. It was a last minute cocktail-style party with passed hors-d'oeuvres and buffet-style mains. AFE jumped in, suggested a menu (to which I made zero changes), staffed up and managed every detail. It was the first time in my life I have actually had the freedom to enjoy one of my own parties. The food was excellent (I am still dreaming about those hors-d'oeuvres), the drinks were divine and the service was just perfect - helpful and pleasant but not overbearing. A hilarious wrinkle arose when a rug that I ordered months ago and expected weeks ago showed up on my doorstep totally unannounced by Fedex *during the party.* I don't know how the team did it but somehow they took delivery of the rug, placed it in an unseen corner of my study, and we were none the wiser. How many teams would do this? At the prearranged end time, the party was still going strong. So the team, always focused on our having a good time, just packed up, tidied up and left my home like they had never even been there, allowing me to stay completely engaged with my guests until the minute they left. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. The fact that the owner and her family are lovely humans is just the cherry on top. I guess the best compliment I can pay the A Fare Extraordinaire team is this - they make me want to have another party.“

We had the pleasure of working with Allison and her team at Wolfgang Puck. It’s been months since our wedding and our wedding guests (friends and family) still talk about how delicious the food was. We have been told several times since our wedding that it was the best catered meal our guests have ever had at a wedding. My husband and I couldn’t agree more.

In addition to the exceptional quality and taste of the appetizers and meals served, the service was spectacular by the staff. The staff was professional, kind, and hard working.
