“IM A PIZZA LOVER !
I recently ordered from Domino’s Pizza and was blown away—not only by the quality of the pizza (which is definitely better than Papa John’s) Crust 10/10, cheese 10/10 not soggy and they literally make the pizza in front of you ! but also by the exceptional customer service I received. A young high school student named Hannah assisted me, and she was incredibly polite and professional throughout the entire process.

It’s refreshing to see such excellent customer service at Domino’s, and it made the experience even more enjoyable. Kudos to Hannah and the team—I’ll definitely be coming back!

“Doctor appointments in Houston mean trying new places! We've been looking forward to trying Pok Pok Po for a few weeks since we saw Shawn the Food Sheep's video review. It did not disappoint! This is the best chicken ever! Look at the seasoning on those fries! My chicken sandwich had an amazing sauce and kimchi on it. Caleb had the chicken nugget basmati rice bowl with kimchi. The side sauces are to die for, and perfectly complemented all we had. PLOT TWIST-- there are two concepts kitchens in one store front!! Pok pok Po shares a space and is the same company/chef as Bōl--a Chipoltle-style Indian food concept. We were able to try a wide sample of their fares including the rice, lamb, cauliflower, potatoes, paneer, pickled onions, avocados, and cucumber salad, airy potatoes crisps, mango Lassi, and samosa. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Staff, manager, and chef take pride in their establishment and value the experience of the customer. Everything there is gluten free (except the burger bun--but make it a wrap or a salad!) And halal, and the chicken is anibiotic free. Everything was spotless, bathrooms were nice and big.Free parking!“

They all go above there duties to make every customer feel so welcome as family. The food quality is amazing. “We ordered the spicy galbi wings, galbi wings, Cole slaw, sweet potato fries, fried dumplings. This was our first time eating at this location. We’ve eaten at bbq Korean chicken in Austin, Katy, and in the Houston area. Their wings never fail. You can taste their freshness (not the reheated taste)and they are served hot. They’re crispy and the galbi sauce is delicious. The sweet potato fries could’ve been crispy and less burnt. The fried dumplings had great taste and they were fried just right! And oh!! “Enjoyed our family outing yesterday at the Heights Pluckers. It was pretty full in the dining area and bar, so we opted for the patio. It was cold outside, but they had it closed in and the heaters on. ❤️ Our server was very attentive, checked on us often even though we were out on the patio and the place was crowded. Food was amazing... fried cheese was so good, and that cheese pull 😋 🤌 double meat burger is big enough to be shared. The jumbo chicken strips are huge! Its a little pricey, but portions are worth the cost. Be careful with the Irish Trash Can... it will sneak up on you! 😁“

“The fresh mango slushy with poppy lychee boba is to die for. Came back and tried the Earl grey Milk tea with brown sugar boba and once again was impressed. Most boba places offer a small snack menu but not this place. they have a large menu to choose from and it's delicious!!!! Even their chicken nuggets were so crispy. I must say their cajun rice is my favorite so far. I will definitely recommend to my friends.“

“I grew up in this area and lived in Spring Branch for over 40 years. I had no idea this place existed since I moved away in 2020. I tried them for the 1st time today on the recommendation of the the Crawfish Community. If you know me, I am fair and objective with my reviews. This place is a hidden gem. Ambiance is 5/5. spacious with good music, friendly atmosphere with sports on the 4 TV screens that I saw. Cleanliness 5/5. The place was spotless. Bathrooms are clean too. Staff was super friendly and patient 5/5. I got 5 lbs of the garlic butter. Flavor was 5/5 soaked to perfection. Fire was on point 5/5 as I got the spicy. Perfectly cooked 5/5. “I can’t believe I slept on Pei Wei for this long.

Stopped in recently and tried the Firecracker Tofu bowl and yeah… it did what it needed to do. The tofu was actually crispy (not that sad, soggy situation some places try to pass off), and the spice level had a nice kick without taking me out. I like heat, but I also like tasting my food — this was balanced.

I was pleasantly surprised by how many plant powered options they had. It didn’t feel like an afterthought. You can tell it’s actually part of the menu, not just “here’s plain vegetables, good luck.” I already have my eye on a couple other tofu bowls for next time.

The place was clean, service was easy and friendly, and everything came out quick. Solid experience all around. Definitely adding this into my rotation when I want something fast but still flavorful.

Grateful for solid plant powered options that don’t feel boring. 👏“

“Charley's came to my life extremely randomly, I have never heard of it until today! I was in Walmart and just got done with doing inventory at all three of my properties, I currently manage in Houston, and I saw this restaurant in the Walmart that I had never seen before. The pictures looked delicious, and I just had to try one of their cheesesteaks. The Walmart I frequent in Atlanta has a Subway inside of it and I'll be honest I am not a fan of Subway, I was starving while shopping then suddenly I was overcome with joy because I got to try a new place.
When I got to the register there was no one in line so I was taking my sweet time making my choices, I ended up going with the classic cheesesteak and a real blueberry lemonade, the cashier was really young and we had a casual conversation while my food was being made.
I got my order and I was so hungry I decided that I was going to eat right then and there. The space was really big, they had plenty of tables and chairs, they actually had a cool backdrop and throne you can take pictures on! It's really cool to see. If I had someone with me, I would have taken a flick.
The food was tasty, I honestly don't know if it was because I had not eaten all day, and my taste buds were heightened, but my cheesesteak tasted a bit salty. Again, in their defense, I worked out and played basketball all day without eating, so that could throw my taste out of whack. With all that being said, the food was good, very filling, I do believe I received an adequate amount of food that I paid for, and that is always something to smile about. Next time, I am going to try their chicken and one of their milkshakes.“

“Dined here for lunch in May 2025. A great nice little market with many dining options. This Indian Flair of cuisine is just right. Definitely for the office lunch crowd and very fast. Tasty too. Definitely recommended. Would eat here. It is open on weekends too. The larger market has a bar in there and other options for dining so great to have options. Parking in the build for a cost. If you are in town for a show at the theater or ballet, stop here and get a quick bite for sure.“

“I am from Haughton, LA (home of Dak Prescott). I have been following Lotus Seafood on Facebook for 3 years until I finally made a trip to Houston last week on 7/11/24. The food looked so good on Facebook, but the amazing taste when covering with the Crack sauce. I will definitely be back next year during crawfish season. 😋. If the seafood was this good, I cannot imagine how good the crawfish is.“

“Pretty good Indo-Chinese fusion food. We now have 3 pretty good restaurants for this type of cuisine - Ginsoy, Aling Hakka and this place - Tangra's daughter.

The issue is that all these restaurants have a few best-in-class options, but none of them is best overall. Between the three, I think Ginsoy is the weakest (unless you want hot-n-sour soup or fried rice, in which case they are the first choice). I feel, Tangra's Daughter is overall better than Ginsoy and equals Aling Hakka in quality.
