“Marigold offers a sophisticated atmosphere, excellent staff, and outstanding food—truly worth the price. What made our visit even more memorable was the exceptional kindness we experienced.

We had a reservation for 7:00 PM and arrived a bit early, so we started waiting at the raw bar. Our table was ready only about five minutes after the reservation time, but to apologize for that short wait, they did something remarkable: they did not charge us for anything we had ordered at the raw bar, which was worth more than $60.

We had not even complained about the five-minute delay. From beginning to end, everything was already wonderful, yet they still chose to go above and beyond.

This is a perfect example of how to treat customers and how businesses earn long-term loyalty. We will definitely be back.“

“Today, my girlfriend and I enjoyed a delicious brunch at Chardon. Our server was Self and he provided awesome service and delish craft cocktails. We enjoyed the Quiche Lorraine that was so flavorful. Another fav was the smash burger and truffle fries. I’ll definitely visit again.“

I opted for the special which was steak, roasted tomatoes with bread crumbs, and an au gratin style potatoes that was exceptional. Dessert was a poached pear and ice cream dish and it was also sublime. service was a little lacking - we weren't checked on as much as the other patrons and we found one of the waitresses to not be as knowledgeable about the wine menu as we would've expected. it didn't ruin the evening at all, just a small hiccup. this place is exceptional, we can't wait to go back“

We had a fantastic experience at Ruggles Black, and a big part of that was our wonderful server, Gabriel. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful.

Gabriel took the time to make thoughtful recommendations, and his suggestions for both drinks and desserts were absolutely excellent. Everything he recommended was spot on and really elevated our dining experience.

Service like this truly makes a difference, and Gabriel’s professionalism and genuine hospitality made our evening even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and hope to be seated in his section again!“

“Visited Lucio’s for the first time. The BYOB is a major plus only for $10 cork fee. They do have their own wine selection (pricey). The food was great. I would not say the food was amazing but it was great. Presentation of the plates is good, but nothing I would describe as amazing or spectacular. The food is a bit overprices in my opinion. You are looking at an average $45-55 an entree, with some in the $60+. Service was top notch, very attentive staff. The ambience of the restaurant is ok, I think the tables were a bit simple and not elegant IMO. There are 2 seating areas, we sat by the entrance in from of the kitchen. At first I thought how cool but I must admit that there was quite a bit of “smoke” in terms of what was being cooked such as fish etc that you could easily smell from the table and I particularly did not like that. I would definitely come back.“

Place can get very busy, parking in Rice Village is sometimes difficult. The line can be long on weekends.

“The wife and I visited recently…her idea, she was looking for a good almond croissant. Apparently she found it! 😄 She had one of those and a chocolate croissant. Loved them both! I got the eclair and it was great! Vanilla pastry cream in every bite. Service was great and the staff was nice. Inside was cozy and green. It had a great vibe. We are defiantly coming back. Oh! And the French baguette I got to go…made some great sandwiches at home.“

“Nguyen Ngo French Sandwich is a well-known Vietnamese sandwich store in the Houston, TX area. Sometimes, I stop by the store and buy some sandwiches. I like their croissant BBQ chicken and grilled pork sandwiches. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The cashier is always friendly to the customers. Most customers order the sandwiches to go. There are a few dining tables for people to sit down and enjoy their sandwiches, but many customers just order to go. The store's atmosphere is not cozy.“
