“The escargot is to die for - she has the chicken breast with brown raspberry sauce, green beans, and fingerling potatoes. I opted for the special which was steak, roasted tomatoes with bread crumbs, and an au gratin style potatoes that was exceptional. Dessert was a poached pear and ice cream dish and it was also sublime. service was a little lacking - we weren't checked on as much as the other patrons and we found one of the waitresses to not be as knowledgeable about the wine menu as we would've expected. it didn't ruin the evening at all, just a small hiccup. this place is exceptional, we can't wait to go back“

“Our experience was good here but not great. Some of the flavors were good but the mains left a lot to be desired. Service was great though. We got the following items, with asterisks to indicate what we enjoyed:

So fresh and delicious, the cozy diner patio and interior is just the nostalgic vibe everyone needs.

“Small, intimate, romantic, and heartfelt. A local family-owned and operated New American restaurant with some noticeable French influence. My dining experience was perfection and I saw excellence at every turn. I see now why this is the local spot for River Oaks residents. I may have quickly became a lifelong fan of Lucio’s and can’t wait to bring a friend to share the experience with. The staff was very present and intentional, which allowed for the pace to feel slow paced & not rushed, yet the wait time for the food was just right. This would be the absolute best spot for an anniversary or date night. 10/10.“

“Absolutely loved my first experience here, I got the berry tart, a vanilla latte, a cheesecake, a hot cocoa, grilled cheese and turkey sandwich. The berry tart was so unbelievably tasty, it was sweet but not a super sweet sensation, the berry flavor was such a great combination with the crunchy bottom texture. The hot cocoa was amazingly hot and had such a chocolate flavor. Turkey sandwich was so great as well, it filled me up more than I imagined. This will be my to go to place now!“

“My favorite restaurant!!! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites are to start off with the Bo Bia and do the Bo Luc Lac as my main course. The soups are all delicious too! And can’t go wrong with dessert! Either I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“The wife and I visited recently…her idea, she was looking for a good almond croissant. Apparently she found it! 😄 She had one of those and a chocolate croissant. Loved them both! I got the eclair and it was great! Vanilla pastry cream in every bite. Service was great and the staff was nice. Inside was cozy and green. It had a great vibe. We are defiantly coming back. Oh! And the French baguette I got to go…made some great sandwiches at home.“

“Noticed this small restaurant on the way home one day by chance. Given it appeared to be a new local business I posted support for it, saying I would take family and friends there but was to busy to go by. Finally today, took a buddy and had the fried swai, seasoned fries and Buffalo wings. We had a great time in a chill environment laughing sharing good food. I spoke with owner and enjoyed their covered patio with fans and enclosed with netting. Please support a great local business & chef, ask for Ms. Rachel & tell her Butler sent ya!

“Nguyen Ngo French Sandwich is a well-known Vietnamese sandwich store in the Houston, TX area. Sometimes, I stop by the store and buy some sandwiches. I like their croissant BBQ chicken and grilled pork sandwiches. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The cashier is always friendly to the customers. Most customers order the sandwiches to go. There are a few dining tables for people to sit down and enjoy their sandwiches, but many customers just order to go. The store's atmosphere is not cozy.“

“Didn’t even know this French Crêperie existed until I drove by ,figured ok let’s check it out well it doesn’t disappoint the food is excellent I get the Nutella w/strawberry Crêpe delicious.The staff is always friendly this is my 4th time here and Melli has greeted me with a smile and friendly welcome I appreciate that.I talked to her briefly and told her a smile doesn’t cost a penny sometimes that’s all it takes 😊“
