“My parents and I visited Aga’s restaurant and were amazed at not only the quality of food but also the service. This is easily one of, if not the best meal we’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! Such a warm and welcoming environment! Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter were very nice. Our waiter Khatija was awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The food was fresh and awesome. Great atmosphere with really nice people. The floor manager took his time to welcome my family and made it his main priority to adjust everything to our liking. Especially nowadays with COVID-19, it’s hard to find a clean but comfortable restaurant environment I felt like my family was number 1. Also, it felt like I was over at family or friends. “Honestly, one of the best phos in Houston! The quality of the meat speaks for itself and the broth is smooth and rich! We got 2 different types of pho, original and Sate. Both were really good. Sate is more tangy and worth the try! Owner was very nice and accommodating as well.

Hot was pretty spicy if you like drinking lots of water and too much pickle taste. Medium was perfect, not too hot, similar to wingstop mild. Would recommend if you like hot chicken“

“A quest for best smash burgers in the Houston area brought us to Hotline. We were not disappointed. Perfectly laced thin smash burger patties on a soft fresh potato bun was just what we needed on this cold Jan afternoon. And the hot crispy fries were just the icing on the cake. Perfection. Not sure if it was the owner or an employee but he was very friendly, quick service and made great suggestions. Must also mention, we took a peek inside as we’re leaving and the restaurant was very clean. Got my vote! 🗳️“

“The food was decent, but the real reason im giving this rating is for the servers, some customers were being so rude to them last night and its just over nothing at times, they asked me if id like to rate them and told me to be honest when i do, so here i am. I hope people realize its just food and its not worth it to get angry at minimum wage workers just doing their jobs.

Especially on the weekends when people are drunk and just feel like they own the place.
We all need to be better people.

“My husband and I and our two children visited this Yemeni restaurant today, we are Palestinian and have never tried Yemeni food, we wanted to try something new and we were not disappointed. My husband ordered the grilled fish and it was the star, it was delicious! I had the Mandi chicken and it was so flavorful and tender. The Mandi rice was very good, especially with the tomato sauce and yogurt sauce. They had chicken nuggets and French fries for the kids. We also had the fattoush which I felt was lacking but not bad, it was fresh. Hummus was very good. My favorite part was the complimentary tea, very tasty. Our host and waiter was genuinely kind and attentive.“

“You have to try the tamales at Johnnys! I am a die hard tamale lover and the tamales were delicious. My recommendation would be the tamales (obviously), fish tacos, tres leches, churros, and chips & salsa! Our waiter was incredible! He was very welcoming, attentive, and polite. Service is extremely important and depending on your waiter and restaurant, it can be hit or miss. However, that was not the case during our visit. Hospitality was prioritized which was evident after meeting both manager and owner. Great experience!“
