I've been wanting to try The Halal Guys for some time now and this weekend the wait ended when we saw their ad for the spicy bbq pita. Our food was made fresh which is impressive given that the med center isn't always busy on Saturdays. The food itself had a lot of flavor-definitely lived up to its spicy label. We went 40 minutes before closing and ordered the chicken platter. Seems like the chicken was sitting for a while and was dried out. The falafels in the falafel platter were fried on the spot and hot and fresh. Not recommended to go late and get the chicken, as what they have sitting is what you will get. The man preparing the food was nice and hospitable.

We were staying at the Hilton across the street, so I walked over to grab dinner to go one evening. We're familiar with Halal Guys from NYC, so we had a pretty good idea of what to expect. They have seats outside if you want to dine in, but it seems it's mostly a take out operation. The regular platters are generous in size. We got one beef, one chicken, and one falafel.
