Meat was tender, juicy and not over salted. Sauces were all great and the chili sauce had a nice little kick.Luckily, the owner showed up while I was there because he told me that the ‘over rice’ things are what they are know for. “I was really surprised at how good this place was. It's a like an old school burger hop type of style with a few benches. They text your phone when the order is ready. The fries are very crispy with a great tasting sauce and seasing. The burgers were very tasty, especially the BBQ burger. Not over cooked, not dry and definitely not flavorless. I ordered a chicken street taco with avocado and the Baja shrimp taco. The chicken taco was very good but the shrimp taco…. Best I’ve ever had in my entire life.It was FULL of large shrimp and was so flavorful. I found it to be the perfect amount of spicy, and had a ton of pizazz. Run, don’t walk, to Taco Fuego. The Tom Yum soup here is superb. I would rate it in my top three for sure. I tend to select a spice level too high for me and regret it in the end, so beware and learn from my mistake! Level 3 out of 5 is perfection. The service during our last visit was outstanding. We celebrated a birthday here and our waiter was very accommodating and nice. Service makes a huge difference in overall experience. Interior is ok. Lots of cultural decorations and murals. Lots of natural lighting. No major wow factor but it's all about the food and service. They have specials on certain days of the week (I think either tTuesday or Thursday), so if you want a deal, something to consider.“

The falafel was lighter and fluffier than other falafel, and the bread was fresh and soft (from a nearby bakery). The owner told me that it was traditional Iraqi falafel. I also got to taste some of the Egg and Meat (Makhlama) on a piece of white wheat pita, that the owner offered me. The exterior is rough looking, but the food more than compensates for the building.“

Nibu naan, lychee ceviche were different and there were two camps - some loved them and some hated them. But Nibu naan needs to be enjoyed with something mild like Dal makhni.
