“Chuy’s hooked it up!! Best street tacos, rice, and beans I’ve had in a long time!!! I found it needing a bulk order of tacos for a birthday party when most trucks and restaurants were closed on Sunday. I called ahead the day before and they were working on it when I arrived the next day. This truck is a MUST. Easy to get to, just drive past the Bellmead HEB and it’ll be on your right about half a mile! Insane flavor to everything. THE BEST SALSA AND QUESO! This will be my new taco stop in Waco. ??“

“Great food place! The food is tasty and the prices reasonable. It’s more of a pick-up food place rather than a stay-and-eat place.Their strong suit is their chicken package with 1 whole chicken, rice, charro beans, tortillas, grilled onion, and salsas all for $20. It feeds about 4 grown hungry men and it’s a good deal. It is ready in about 3 minutes.The chicken has a good flavor of being grilled over coal. The rice is decent. The charro beans have good flavor. The salsas are good but the green one is especially good.The taqueria has a wide range of food. They also have a rib package which is a bit pricier than the chicken but still good and tender. The pupusas are good and made on the spot so it has a bit of wait time. Their fresh waters are good and huge. Their tamales are good sized if a bit lacking in taste.There is ample parking and wheelchair accessible.Try this place it’s really good, with a wide selection, and reasonably priced.“

“Being on the East Coast, we don't get to see a lot of Jack in the Box. My wife and I went here, and it lived up to our memories. My wife had egg rolls and tacos (loved them) while I had the $10 deal with the ultimate cheeseburger (excellent). The staff was very friendly and this location has a military discount. We will be going back at least one more time on this trip!“

“Finally found the time to drive out to try this restaurant and we are so happy we did. Wonderful place, and wonderful folks running it. It’s a little pricey, but that’s because grow all the food that they serve from my understanding. Let me tell you, the food is wonderful. Peach Sweet Tea, table bread, and Corn Fritters are a must try. Family friendly atmosphere. Very clean facility. We will be back.“

“We were planning a one day visit to Waco to have breakfast and then visit the Waco Mammoth NM, but it turned out that the restaurant we were planning to visit requires booking few weeks in advance... so we changed our plan and visited first the Waco Mammoth NM and then had lunch.
The thing is that by the time (3 PM) we were ready for the lunch, it was too late for lunch or too early for dinner for most of the restaurants in Waco, therefore they were closed.
Thanks God we found Torchy's Tacos.
I had a Breakfast burrito and my wife a couple of tacos (one Democrat and one steak fajita... the former is like mexican "barbacoa").
My burrito tasted amazing, it was an extraordinary combinations of flavors and textures.
They should include coffee on their beverages options.“

“I hardly EVER give any place all 5s in a review but here goes. Try this place they have a very diverse array of taco flavors. They also taste amazing as well. My favorite taco so far is the chicken and waffles taco. A truly flavorful experience. I get that and try a new one. Can't miss.“

“The food overall was fresh and tasted pretty good. Surf and turf burrito was quite the mix of ingredients but it worked well. Portions were fair for the price. Only disappointment was the red sauce, I'd probably give that a 3/10 way too much tomato flavor not enough chile cilantro etc. Verde sauce was pretty good though, easy 7.5 or 8/10. I'd smother a lot of stuff in that green sauce.

There's enough variety that you may want to experiment with the menu until you find a favorite dish. I would happily order here again, but I'm not going out of my way just to get some if that makes sense. I'll give it a solid 7/10 with room to grow, which is quite good for a new place.“

“Absolutely the BEST!! We've tried a few things on their menu and are never disappointed! We absolutely love their quesadillas and tacos! If you haven't tried this place yet you really should!! 100% recommend!“

“This place is an absolute delight! The food was sooooooo good! The service was even better. My wife is very picky about tortillas and these were her favorite in tje Waco area! They even gave my daugter some papas for free. It was her firsr time trying them and boy are they delicous! I would recomend this place 100 percent!

“I stopped by yesterday since it was on my way home from College Station, and I definitely will again! The mac was made quickly and tasted amazing, as did the cheesecake. I warn you though, they aren’t joking about the cheese moving through your intestinal tract like a runaway freight train. I eat dairy with every meal and after a hour on the road even I had to start speeding up to 15-20 over the limit to find a rest stop. Unfortunately a police car found me first. I feel deep regret for the officer that allowed me to poo on the side of the highway. TL;DR: Food was great but made me poo on a cop.“

“The tacos are decent, but they get overpriced really quick.I grabbed some breakfast tacos. They currently have them at two for $6.00. That's not too bad, but it's only for some basic egg and meat tacos. Add anything to them and the price soars. I don't like my tacos bland, so I added some refried beans and cheese. Just adding those doubled the price to $12.00.If you want plain tacos, or to add some of your own toppings, then these are okay. If you want to to add anything there at the store, save your money and go to a real Mexican restaurant for almost the same price.“
