First of all, Thank you for your service!!!Finally I was able to make it to Compadres Hill Country Cocina. I had the compadre nachos with beef fajitas and tacos al carbon also beef fajita. They were soooo good. Great place, friendly staff and very clean place. BTW the music was kicking but not too loud. If you ever find yourself in Boerne, TX, stop by for some great food.

Found this place on Google was walking distance to our Bed and Breakfast and all I can say is get there early and my gosh some of the best fajitas tacos we’ve ever ate!The charro beans outstanding everything was awesome !

I’ll have to remember to snap pictures next time, but it was so delicious everyone gobbled it all up before I could! We ordered to go because they were super busy, but the service was great and my order was ready quickly and was just as ordered. This is the second time I’m ordered from them and been impressed both times. Definitely a must try in Boerne!!!! If you haven’t been go check it out! Thanks for the great food and service you guys!

It's a little tough to find even though Google maps took me right to it. I asked for a recommendation and ordered the beef fajita Philly with a side of beans. Both were amazing! The beans were cooked to perfection and the roll was pillowy fresh and didn't distract from the fantastic smoky fajita flavors of the meat and veggies. The service was fast and friendly. A definite must try! They sell the fajita mix by the pound. I'm a good cook, but the tenderness and flavor of that fajita mix beats anything I've ever mastered!
I reserve my 5 star reviews for places that provide absolutely exceptional service, food that is beyond comparison, etc. Compadres earns my 5th star because of the outstanding work they do in and for the community, especially for veterans. Chef Mark has created an awesome place with excellent food that happily melds traditional tex-mex foods with South Texas BBQ flavors. Be sure to come early as they do tend to run out!
