Visiting from out of state. Texas family suggested we all have dinner here. And I loved it. Our server was super attentive and efficient. The menu is awesome with great selection. Chips and salsa are the best I’ve had in a long time. The appetizer soup was definitely delicious. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Great for large groups. O and I love the art work and decor, super beautiful.Parking: Large parking lot

El Chaparral restaurant in Helotes has been one of my favorite Mexican restaurants for decadesThis location in boerne is a beautiful new restaurant building nicely decorated the food is as you'd expect if you're familiar with El Shepard House menu doesn't disappoint when the service was great I highly recommend it

Sunday, March 10, 2024 my wife and I had breakfast for the first time at El Chaparral Mexican Restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great. They have breakfast only on Saturday and Sunday. Hu The prices are very reasonable too. The place is beautiful and clean. I recommend it.

The food and service are good. The top shelf Margaritas are excellent. The building is also beautiful and used to be a home. However, we have been numerous times and at least 50% of the time the “cleaned” table is not clean and has food smeared across it. They will always wipe it again but the table cleaner guys need a serious lesson on properly cleaning a table and not just yakking with each other. Seems management and the owners would make this a very high priority as this is a first impression and health issue.

This is not Mexican food, but the restaurant is beautiful..
Finally tried the location in Boerne after all the hype of El Chaparral. Needless to say, it was disappointing. The food is pre-made and the quality shows as well. The portions are small and everything was way overpriced. The service was good, but cannot provide high marks for anything else. Will not being going back.
