Inferno's Wood Fired Oven & Spirits

Service was okay, our server came by the table a couple times totally fine, but no refills were offered. The host saw we had a child didn’t ask if we needed a high chair even when we made it obvious we needed one, we had to hunt one down. Which honestly is fine I’m a big girl I can do it, but the service part is lacking as this is a restaurant and has standards. The food was mediocre. Crust was lacking flavor, there was hardly any sauce. I’m pretty sure the “pepperoni” was a ham pepperoni. Ranch tasted like mayo…that kind of made me laugh. Marinara sauce was watery and a little weird tasting. I asked for a margarita. Waiter said there was a special 3.99…it was actually 7.99 didn’t know till after I looked at the bill. Apart from that! Food was okay. Server was nice! Food took about 20 min to come out. Not terrible. Overall the environment was great, they have a playground and outdoors area! May try again in near future.

DoorDashed this so I can not speak to the service and atmosphere, but the food was 🔥! The salad ingredients were super fresh, garlic knots packed full of flavor but not oily, the stuffed jalapenoes were so rich, and the pizza had great crust.

Only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the scorpion sauce, only because the acidity in the sauce doesn’t pair will with cheese imo.

Overall great food!

I’ve eaten at a bunch of places in San Antonio now, and I’m beginning to see why the obesity rate is so high down here lol.

Great food! The kids loved the playground outside!

The counters were dirty and sticky. I was at the bar, and dirty dishes were piling up right next to where I was sitting. The draft beer tasted metallic (probably dirty lines). The pizza was undercooked and had way too much cheese on it which made it flimsy and way too greasy. Fruit flies at the bar. Not good.

First time here and we really enjoyed the food; full of flavor. I would highly recommend to anybody coming to visit Gruene.

Food i had was good. I had spaghetti with meatballs, an had cheese sticks that were good. Rest of the family had different items. I recommend this place.

Sunday lunch family experience

The food was amazing! And the service fantastic. Kristen and lulu Were so kind and made our first experience here wonderful. Definitely coming back

Place seems to be struggling. We sat at the empty bar thinking our service would be good. In the contrary it was the slowest worst service I would have ever gotten at a pizza joint. The young lady must like her friends more than money. I would have tipped her very well for her service but she barely acknowledged our presence. We were only asked 1 time if we would like something else. Not sure why she had a bad attitude toward us, we just wanted a good time there....well one thing is certain. I am never coming back. Pizza was cold and drinks were watered down when we got everything. Sad to see this place go down hill. This is the picture of all the employees hanging out and barely serving anyone there. This place is no good..

If you are looking for great pizza and you are driving through Boerne Texas , make sure to stop at Inferno's Pizza. We also had the Greek salad which was huge and delicious. The wings were quite possibly the best I've ever had. Mark the GM and Lulu the waitress were out of this world with their service . 🙂

We had such a great experience at Inferno's that I felt compelled to leave a review. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and our family genuinely enjoyed our first visit.

What really stood out though was the incredible kindness and professionalism from our waitresses, Kristen and Louise. Out of nowhere, our 10-month-old suddenly started throwing up everywhere at the table. As parents, it was honestly both scary and incredibly embarrassing/stressful in the moment.

Kristen and Louise immediately reassured us that it was okay, helped us clean everything up, and treated us with so much compassion and grace. Not once did they make us feel like we were an inconvenience. They handled the situation with kindness, patience, and genuine care, and that meant a lot to our family.

We’re visiting from Colorado and come to the area often, but this was our first time at Inferno’s. It absolutely will not be our last. I sincerely hope management recognizes what gems they have in these two ladies because employees like that are rare and make a lasting impression. Thank you again for turning a stressful moment into a reminder of how good people can be. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Food was cold on pickup. French Fries dried up like prunes. Sandwich didnt taste like typical reuben but rather barbecue sauce brisket. Never again. Uninviting upon walk in. Ugh
