We love LaPlayita! There are some better places to eat Mexican food, but this is home. The Pollo Asado is scrumptious and my hubby swears by the Shrimp Ala

Got hungry and didn't want to ferry across for food. This place was great. For a hole in the wall they had great service, delicious food and the prices are very reasonable! I will be back for all you can eat oysters tomorrow!

I personally think it's the best restaurant on the peninsula. It has a varied menu, and I've never been disappointed. We have been going there for years.

Went for the first time yesterday. Oysters are in season and they have an unlimited oyster special running prepared 10 different ways. Wow! It was all delicious. I’ll be making this place a regular stop in Bolivar!

The fried shrimp and fish are to die for. I asked the owner and they said that the fishing boats call them when they arrive and they pick it up fresh!

5 out of 6 plates were delivered with rancid beans. Beans that were replaced were canned and watered down. $160 total tab no compensation given. Required 20÷ gratuity added. I would not recommend.
