Joe might be my favorite person in Bolivar! He’s friendly and funny and remembers me every time I come shop. Amazing prices on blue crab, super fresh selection and he will let you clean them there. Bring your cooler if you can remember!
Joe is a very nice guy. We didn't see any crab today. We need to call at 8 am in the morning to find out if Joe got any crabs.I called at 7:50 am and Joe was able to bring back few dozens of blue crabs. There are sold by the pound and it is about $1 per crab. The frozen gulf shrimps are $6.50 per pound. The crabs were big and sweet.

We've had a place on the peninsula for about a year now. Someone mentioned Joe's to me when I was searching for live blue crabs to steam. I've been here 5-6 times this year already, and would definitely recommend it. I'm only here on the weekends, so I don't know about weekday availability, but I usually show up about 8:15 on Saturdays to get some live crab, and sometime shrimp. Joe and wife are always friendly and prices seem good. Thanks for what you do.
