“The food and service were excellent. Our server, Nickie, was superb. Mild irritation with phone call confirmation of our reservation after I had already replied to open table confirmation email and notification of Vargas dress code requirement when we've been there before and are aware of appropriate dress.”

“Stopped in today when visiting Galveston. It was very busy but the process was fast and efficient. I was a little disappointed there wasn't a designated roll stand for those with allergies. The worker clearly stated they couldnt guarantee it to be safe for my daughters gluten allergy since all items were prepared on the same areas which we understood. She opted for a root beer float and it was great and much safer. Not alot of room to sit so we just took it to go.”

“I'm not sure if the slow, inattentive service makes up for the superb food. It was a bit crazy to see the amount of employees just standing around whem we needed drink refills. The food is excellent and a bit on the pricier side, again just not worth always having to flag someone down.”

“I ordered a non-alcoholic beverage while my wife had a regular adult one.. lol. The guy behind the bar made the greatest, most refreshing non-alcoholic drink I have ever had. He actually mixed it and took time to create something original. It was really a great... ”

“Take was prepared and ready on time and with everything including utensils. Would have to try the fried okra for dine in to get the crisp from the breading, so probably don’t order if you are eating at home. The Chicken & Sausage gumbo was some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of gumbo! Even after I ate the last bits of sausage, okra, and chicken, I was savoring the base like a good bowl of Pho.My 6 year old son and I shared the Crawfish PoBoy and loved it! He is picky with seafood and he had no problem devouring the sandwich.Great place to eat in Galveston and will give you a taste of the Big Easy from Texas.”

“All the food was delicious. It was very authentic. On top of that the service was good and the price was very reasonable. The fresh pasta was delicious. Both Ravioli sauces were out of this world. We ordered the Mediterranean style Octopus, Italian antipasto, Bolognese, Ravioli with mushroom cream sauce, Ravioli Pesce, Veal Campagnola, and tiramisu for dessert. We tried this for the first time and will definitely come back again.”

“I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years, every single time the food is delicious, from their breakfast to their late lunch or dinner, brunch, every single time the food is on point. It was so flavorful, just delicious. The service is amazing, professional, friendly, and very attentive, Mr. Andrés is an excellent person. The atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting. And you definitely can't pass up the bakery area, the banana bread delicious, my favorite are the cream puffs. I love that they are not so sweet, and they are so light and airy. Please keep up the amazing work!!! Wish you the best.”

“The food was outstanding and VERY delicious and seasoned to perfection! My husband and I are vacationing here in Galveston this week and today we visited Miller's Seawall Grill for the first time.I ordered fried catfish and onion rings, and OMG!!! I enjoyed every single bite! I really don't eat onion rings, however, I decided to try them for the first time. They were scrumptious! As far as the customer service, I'm rating that as a 10 plus! Parker was our host and he gave the best of the best customer service to my husband and I.He was very nice and hospitable and made us feel welcome. I would recommend that the company will give Parker a raise for his stellar customer service. He definitely deserves it! The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. We will definitely be returning again and referring your restaurant to our family and friends.Parking: N/A”

“Person in our party found this restaurant. Went there and had wonderful food. Portions were not exaggerated. Breakfast was fantastic. 8 people in our group. Even bought coffee to take home with us. Will go back if we are back in the area.”
“we stopped by on Wednesday in the early afternoon, we were the only customers at the time and the owner was the only person there. She was absolutely lovely, very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for what to do in town. They had the best pool tables with hand chalk, and free pool on Wednesdays!! The drinks were very affordable as well! We came back Thursday night, and the young bartender was rather unfriendly and unwelcoming. There was no music at all as you had to download an app to play music, which we did and paid $6 for about 5 songs. I was confused because there was music playing the previous day even with nobody there, I assume the owner was playing music. We will definitely be back next time we visit!”

“First time visit. We were immediately greeted and advised the process of ordering, which was nice. Hubby ordered French toast & I ordered ham omelet with biscuit. Omelet delicious...one of the best I've eaten. I would skip the biscuit. Luckily, hubby shared some French toast, which was good. Very nice people who work there. Very cute, eclectic restaurant.”

“This is legit Texas BBQ. We had the five meat to share. Portions are generous. Brisket is cut like it should, no see through pieces. Sausage has lots of flavor. Pulled pork has a nice sweet flavor but not overly sweet. Ribs are amazing. Staff and owner are friendly. Go early, when an item is gone, it's gone for the day. Don't sleep on Koop's, you won't be dissapointed.”

“We are on vacation and wanted some Texas BBQ. Leon’s had some excellent reviews, so we headed to Galveston. When we pulled up, I was a bit hesitant to he in because the outside appearance; however, the delicious aroma of the BBQ filled the neighborhood. We ordered our meal with the help of our lovely waitress, she recommended the three meats and Leon’s cut, which was a fatty and juicy cut. Our dinner included 2 sides, but we ordered a third. Our meats were brisket, ribs, and sausage. Each was exceptional and by far the best BBQ I’ve ever eaten. The ribs have dry rub and fell off the bone. The brisket was juicy and tender and the sausage had the right amount of spice. The price was reasonable; $28.00 for everything. Don’t let the exterior fool you! It’s worth the stop.”
