Sue Ellen and I eat at Cattleman's BBQ almost every week. I recommend it wholeheartedly. I have eaten a lot of barbecue in my life, all over Texas and in other states as well.
Cattleman's makes a traditional Texas barbecue that is outstanding. The meat is from cattle that have been raised and processed locally. Mesquite--and only mesquite--is used in the smoker, which give the barbecue its distinctive flavor.

We came in last night and the waitress was very fast and friendly. Had our drinks and appetizer right away. Free beans that are delicious. Fried pickles had just the right seasoning and crisp. I ordered brisket and double fries my husband got the large chicken fried steak with fried okra and potato salad. EVERYTHING was so delicious! Food came out quick and with large portions! I order moist brisket and got dry. Couldnt get my waitress to help me finally got the young lady cleaning tables to help and my waitress still not talk to me. So as i paid out and walking out they said here is some togo Brisket for you. Really bed service.
