We were going to be in Brenham mid day for a bit (we live in Houston)so I looked to see if there was a place for a treat. I was intrigued by its menu and kept my hopes in check. I cannot express the depths of my surprise and pleasure upon entering and then trying the first item--wow doesn't do it justice but these are the best morning pastries I have ever had in the US. I keep forgetting to take photos because the goodies disappear very quickly. I have been twice now, and everything our family has enjoyed has been perfection. The lamination on the croissants is spot on. Right before leaving this last time I visited, I asked them to add some chocolate chip cookies to the order. They are my favorite now because they taste just like my mom's.

We ordered their milk chocolate/almond toffee for corporate gifts and Jennifer was wonderful to work with. The toffee is delicious and beautifully packaged. Have also had their croissants and Quiche Lorraine, which was some of the best quiche I've had in a long time. Treat yourself today!
