My husband likes the bakery. There’s a great selection. We ordered dinners. I had the steak, loaded stuffed potato and salad. The salad was tasty and a generous portion. The steak and the potato looked great but I think the seasoning was forgotten. I asked for no chives, there was a few randomly in there. My husband had the ribs, they are definitely not fall off the bone. I was surprised at the cost.
Poor quality for dinner. Sent back for reheating.. and still cold.
Overpriced, for what we received.. not worth eating!
Employees were playing behind counter.. and not taking care of the customers.
We will not return.
Good food and service. Nice atmosphere.

Chappell Hill Barbecue Bakery is a popular dining destination known for its mouthwatering barbecue and delectable baked goods. Customers appreciate the fresh baked pies, breads, and kolachies made with the famous Chappell Hill sausage. The bakery items, especially the cinnamon rolls, are highly praised, and the sweet treats are considered to be on a whole other level of delicious. In addition to the baked goods, the restaurant offers a variety of steaks, chops, and bacon, along with smoked sausage available in the deli case or vacuumed packaged. While the barbecue has received mixed reviews—some finding it needs more seasoning and mentioning that the brisket can be dry—the overall experience remains positive. The staff is friendly, and the place tends to be busy during lunch, but the line moves quickly. Despite some inconsistencies with the barbecue, the bakery and desserts make it a favorite spot for many seeking a satisfying barbecue experience complemented by a wide array of freshly baked treats.
