I love coming here!! Menudo and tripas on the weekend is awesome. All their tacos are made with fresh tortillas to order. Of course the fruit cups are great too!!

Finally decide to head over to this restaurant after being in Brenham for a bit now. Finally, a place that reminds me of my former city San Antonio...a taqueria. Those who may not know, a taqueria is not just simply a Mexican restaurant but often combined a frutería with its aqua frescas, paletas, fruit, milk shakes limonados and so forth with usually a food stand having tacos, tortas, caldos and so forth. This is definitely something I missed. As always beginning with the service. Friendly and helpful as usual. The food was great and yes does remind me of similar restaurants in San Antonio. It is always a good sign when you are the only gringo in one of these places. I did try a paleta de coco and it was ok...too sweet for my taste. Next time I need to try the mango though it is going to be difficult to bet El Paraiso from San Antonio. Overall a great place and I will return to get a taste that is not available anywhere around here. Now on to find decent traditional Tex-Mex food around here, something of a challenge apparently.
