Best Mexican food in town arguably between here and Austin . Flavor , portion , salsa it's all just so damn good.

Tried Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant in Brenham and honestly left disappointed. The food was pretty underwhelming, nothing had much flavor or stood out, and the service was just average at best.

The pricing really didn’t match the experience. $20 for a basic fish tacos plate (two tacos with rice and beans) is hard to justify given the quality and portions.

On top of that, they tack on an extra fee for using a card, even a debit card, which feels like nickel-and-diming customers, especially when it’s not clearly communicated upfront.

Overall, not worth the price, and there are better options in Brenham for both food and value.

Beer was cold. Ordered Tomatillo Enchiladas that I couldn’t even cut with a knife. My plate was overcooked and cold. Definitely not on their “A” game. Won’t be back

The experience has changed. Food wasn't as good as usual. Service/Staff was great, ambiance was as you'd expect from a Tex-Mex restaurant. I just feel the taste/quality of the food has dipped since i was last here.

Worst food ever! Beef and Chicken tough and dry, not edible! Queso water? Etc. Etc. Feel like I just threw money to feed four very disappointed diners in the garbage can!

I had lunch today 4.6.26 . The service was awful , the food was really tasteless and dry, I could not eat any of it. I waited for the waiter to come for a drink refill , he never came. Then I waited for my check and he never brought it. I don’t think I will be back!!

The male employee’s facial expression made us feel uncomfortable. He didn’t show any sign of welcoming us at all.

We had one of the worst dining experiences ever. Our order was completely mishandled from the start—they forgot to place my meal, even though we ordered the same thing. When the food finally came out, it was unacceptable. The medium well steak was served raw and bloody—so undercooked it was barely edible. The broccoli was hard and undercooked, and my daughter’s beef fajitas were nothing like fajitas should be. The meat tasted awful, and the tortillas were soaked in orange grease, making them inedible.

After already being frustrated, my steak finally arrived—and it was even more raw than the first one. I had to send it back and refuse the dish. In the end, we paid $70 for food that no one could eat.

To make matters worse, the manager showed little concern, and the server admitted the cook was struggling with steaks—which clearly showed. Extremely disappointing experience overall. We will not be returning 😒.

First and last time I go here. This location was highly recommended and I have enjoyed the other locations. Worst service I have gotten. Stood there waiting to be seated and was ignored by the wait staff. One guy in particular looked right at me and walked away and started a conversation in the back. Looked at me again from the back and did nothing. One time is all you get. Will never go back and never recommend. Walked out.
