The old time charm and sense of nostalgia make it feel like a step back into a simpler, sweeter era. Everything from the atmosphere to the friendly service adds to the experience. The muffaletta was a standout and absolutely worth the visit on its own. This is the kind of place that makes you slow down, enjoy the moment, and leave already planning your next stop back. Highly recommended.
It was just ok, not worth the wait. The service was like what you would expect at a fast food restaurant. The crust on the quiche was delicious, so my guess is that their pies are great. The quiche filling was tasteless except for sun dried tomatoes clumped together. The sandwiches were just ok. They were out of the special but it was later in the afternoon around 2pm. If your expectations are a cute family style atmosphere and convenient dining in downtown, this is a good place....
