Went today and was in line for about 40 minutes, I think the line out the door it’s not cuz they’re good…it’s more cuz the service is slow. The brisket and house sausage were really good and their bbq sauce as well. I do not recommend the ribs they were dry. The greens could use a bit more seasoning and the potato salad too as well as some mustard. Also do not get drinks from their machine, after a while the drink tastes awful! To me this place is just hyped up and overpriced.Parking: No parking spots if you get there after 11, you have to park at the business next to it and risk getting towed.

My girlfriend and I went here after the Blue Bell fun run. We waited an hour in line but we didn’t mind. This place is just really busy. The atmosphere is nice. The inside has a couple of areas to sit down and eat but the majority of the seating is outside where you can find a seat at any of their spacious tables. As for the food, we were disappointed. The brisket had nice flavor but it was dry. The pork ribs were moist and had a nice flavor. The cornbread, like the brisket, had great flavor, but was very dry. The Mac n cheese was nice. The pinto beans were about average. Lastly, we tried the banana pudding. Pretty good! It’s like this place has great food but is maybe inconsistent in the quality? It’s worth coming here if the line isn’t long.

Bbq was great, sides are a solid 4 star, just be prepared to wait in a crazy long line, even if you show up

Most seating is outside. There are 2 tables inside, but with the line it makes it a bit cramped to eat inside.Parking: Park wherever you find space.Kid-friendliness: Not too friendly for kids since it's mostly outside and near a major highway.

It was a windy spring Texas day when we stopped. The place was very busy. We had the three meat tray; a cheese sausage, brisket, and turkey. Everything was delicious. The wind, however, was not very helpful ?. And my kid caught his hand on a nail sticking out somewhere. But all in all, it's a good place to stop for some original Texas Made bbq.

Been to many of the top 10 rated BBQ places in Texas. Truth can certainly hold its own against them. No issues with accuracy of our order. Brisket and Pork Burnt Ends were both rated as excellent. Cole Slaw was also excellent. Potato Salad was average (needs a little more mustard or salt in my party of four's opinion...but that is a personal taste). My only real negative observation is that we showed up with 18 people in front of us and it took 25 minutes from the time we entered the line to the time we received our food. While I recognize that their facility is very small inside, Truth is by far the slowest in service...with that being said, it was worth the wait. Will visit again when in town.

Made a rookie mistake to visit at 2:30 pm on a Sunday :) They just had brisket left and yes, it was worth the stop! Succulant brisket, over buns, little bit of pickled onions and pickles, dash of their mustard bbq sauce and yummm!

I like the place and people here a lot. Normally I would give this place five stars, but the last couple times I have been here I have noticed that the brisket has been a lot tougher than it usually is. It is no where near as moist and tender as it once was . I don’t know if they changed the kind of brisket they serve or maybe don’t go on Fridays, but something is off and for how expensive it is I’m not sure I’ll be back very often if at all. This used to be my favorite spot to eat within 100 miles of where I live, but honestly, I can get the same quality for less money or do better at a lot of other bbq joints at this point. I’ll have to stick to Sundays and see if that makes a difference or most likely find a new spot I guess. Maybe the one in Houston is getting all the love at this point because the one in Brenham has certainly fallen off.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and two sides. The two sides were macaroni and cheese and tatertot casserole. Dessert was a chocolate cake. Everything was delicious.

This is amazing BBQ! I came early in the morning during the week. Unfortunately Beef Ribs are just Saturday I was told. And there weren't any brownies available yet.But everything I ate was amazing! I got the pork ribs with two sides: corn pudding and tatertot casserole.I highly recommend the corn pudding. The meat was falling off the bone. You have to come early before they open as this is a popular place for BBQ.Also there are lots of cake choices for dessert. And banana pudding. I got the triple chocolate cake. Their desserts are impressive. There were two tables inside. And more seating outside.I look forward to coming here again!

My husband and I visited Truth BBQ in Brenham, Texas on Super Bowl Sunday. We had heard rave reviews about Truth, and have been dying to try it ever since we moved to Texas a couple months ago. We arrived about 10:45am (they open at 11:00am) and there were only four people ahead of us in line. We ordered for takeout a half chicken, one link of spicy pepper jack sausage, 2 pounds of turkey, 2 pounds of pork ribs and a pound of brisket. For sides we had mac and cheese, tater tot casserole, corn pudding, and collards. Everything was amazing!!! My husband loves ribs so he pretty much ate all of those by himself. The sausage was wonderfully spiced! All the sides were wonderful, but my favorite was the corn pudding. A must try for “True”Texas barbecue!!

Texas Barbecue doesn’t get any better than this. I’ve tried Killeen’s, Corkscrew, The Pit Room and more and Truth BBQ is up there with the best. Masterful cookery, spices, and overall flavor. The sides matched the meat in quality, they simply didn’t cut corners on anything they served. Our only regret was not knowing how much the beef rib cost before we added it to our plates - but it was still delicious, just not worth $31/lb. Overall, an incredible BBQ experience!Kid-friendliness: Laid back atmosphere and comfortable, covered outdoor seating makes this an easy spot for families
