I do not care for the self service kiosk model. It is too impersonal.
It’s McDonalds, hadn’t been to one in over a decade but it was next door to the hotel where we stayed and I didn’t feel like finding a restaurant. The food was just as crappy as I remembered, not just this location every one I’ve ever been to. The service was basically nonexistent, we ordered from a kiosk and they dropped the food onto a shelf for us to pick up. I was sitting at the drive thru for about 5 minutes and finally someone got on and said they were closed very rudely. I told them their lights were on they said it was for safety but any other day they would be closed by 11pm with all the lights off.

The McDonald's on the Lubbock highway and Brownfield in Texas has mixed reviews. Some customers found the place dirty with sticky tables and nasty bathrooms, while others had a positive experience with excellent service. The manager was amazing and a very hard worker, especially when short staffed. Manager Bayla was super nice and remade a complete order. The location has clean bathrooms and quick service. Some booths have basic kid friendly computer games and the family tables had interactive game lights. The local people are really nice.
