IF YOU WANT TO WORK HERE.
-The McAllen Manager Maria expects you to know a day before if you're going to get sick
-Maria will cut your hours for the whole week if you get sick.
-You can't get sick
-Expect to receive unnecessary rude attitude from Maria because she feels like it.
-The new manager Samuel in the Brownsville location will be very critical and act as if everything must be perfect, he isn't perfect.
-Samuel will make sure to let Maria know about others mistakes/shortcomings except his own or the employees he likes.
-Samuel will always have more hours than you and you won't get past 30 hours a week.
-Samuel will badmouth you to Maria and there is nothing you can do other than leave because nothing will change.
-If you have a complaint on Maria she will ask Samuel to cover for her and pretend he is her boss.
-your work WONT be appreciated.
-If you want to talk to Martha about your hours or anything about the store, she won't know, she'll send you to Samuel or Maria.

This review is for the Brownsville Texas location. The hours are inconsistent. It says open at 8am, and I've been here on two occasions right at 8am, and they were not open. Maybe update you're hours to 9:00am opening time. On one of those occasions I waited till 8:30 and they still weren't open. Other than that, the bread is awesome and I try to come once a week to get bread.

This place has amazing pastries, very clean bakery. The apple pie and blueberry pie bread are probably some of the best dessert pastries I've had.

Lady at the front is also very nice and welcoming.

It was my first time try coming here and I can’t wait to go back and try other treats. They have samples and you get a free loaf that you can choose from when you download the app. The service was great and friendly.
