Birria tacos and tortillas tasted old also had no favor, they use to be good.

We tried Calacas at SPI and food was 10/10! 👌🏼 Our server Luis did amazing, great attention and super friendly! Above and beyond!!

ALL OTHER TACO PLACES SHOULD BE SCARED RIGHT NOW! - First off, other places that claim they have "birria" on their menu should learn from these taco geniuses; the meat and cheese was perfect and the consome was way more than just taco flavored au jus like other restaurants offer. - Secondly, they're my new favorite michelada spot. Anyone who doesnt think they're the bomb still haven't gotten their sense of taste back from Covid. - Lastly, so many other places that offer al pastor tacos suffer from over-seasoning (to cover up for low quality meat), are too dry, or are just bland. NOT THE CASE WITH CALACAS! Seriously the best tacos this side of the border. If I go into a food coma because of this place, DO. NOT. RESUSCITATE. This is how I want to go out...

We were at the Pharr location. The food was amazing, service and prices were also great! We had a party of seven and all tried different things on the menu. Everything was delicious 😋!!!

The service was good and the food... 10/10
We had the Birria quesadilla and the pork pancita tacos.
There was more than enough meat served with each plate. The flavors were amazing, and even the salsa on the tables were good.
We also ordered limonadas preparadas (mango and piña) with were both just as delicious as they looked!
For desert, we got the mango cheesecake. It was so rich and smooth.
Highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for some tacos and more!

The street tacos regardless of your pick are award winning in my opinion and the lemonade was also on another level. The decor was really nice and the music that was blasting set the atmosphere for a perfect experience. KLLM

Where do I even start..🔥🤔 The Food was awesome ‼️ The drinks are delicious 😋 and the service and atmosphere was fantastic. The style and flavor of this place is as unique as it gets. The decor makes you feel like you're in the barrio or in someone's backyard eating some of the best twist of Mama's Mexican food. I'm Puerto Rican and I love my culture's food but my #2 is Mexican food, and this spot didn't disappoint. My apastor tacos were a little too salty but this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Brownsville. The prices, quality and quantity of food were perfect.

So I’m not all the time on keto the holidays got me not feeling as I should so I went ahead and jumped on a keto diet for a few months. They serve the best cheese shell tacos. Never thought of getting it with tripas, absolutely mind blowing with a little bit of avocado in their green sauce
