Great place for a quick meal that is reasonably priced. Server was very friendly and helpful.

I ordered for pick up for my co workersz it’s a shorter day for us and we’re only allowed 30 minutes. It was 7 plates total. I order at about 11:45 on a Saturday. I was told it would be 20 minutes. I get there in a bit over 30 minutes. The woman who took my order pulls off my order right in front of me to take it to the back to get it started. I had to wait another 30 minutes for my food. No one took accountability, the women in the front blamed the people in the back but it takes a blind person to buy that. I ordered over the phone to make lunch as efficient as I can for my coworkers and all they did was waste my time and never apologized for not putting my order until I was there to pick up. I will never rely on Ricardo’s to have lunch during work. I’d rather eat McDonalds. Thanks for nothing!

Un restaurante Excelente, me recibieron a mi y a mi grupo de 37 personas con una atención extraordinaria, la comida deliciosa, las ordenes de comida para semejante cantidad de gente fue perfecta , siempre agrdecido y espero regresar pronto con más grupos y también mi familia

Tried Ricardo’s for the first time in Edinburg and absolutely loved it! Great staff. Very friendly and attentive. Definitely will be returning soon to try out their lunch buffet.😇

By far some of the best food on the island. We have been there as just a couple as well as in a large group and have never had anything but delicious food. Everything from simple pasta to authentic Peruvian was superb. Even our pickiest kids and friends were impressed. Hats off to the manager and staff on duty on our last visit. They were working very short staffed but our service was still great. We take all our visitors there for dinner.

El día de ayer a las 10:00AM , una de las camionetas de Ricardos iba saliendo del parqueadero del Sam’s.Mientras yo avanzaba para salir el señor decidió saltarse la la fila &pasar alado de mi justo cuando estaba yo dándole para salir por casi anda & chocó con el ! No me importa que tanto apuro tenía o no pero puedo aver causando un fuerte accidente solo por no poder esperase & hacer la fila como los demás !

The best restaurant in the valley!!!

Management was horrible. Went to the breakfast buffet. There was a lady serving her plate & a roach was crawling on her plate. Then when I go to serve my plate there’s another roach crawling on the tongs. As I drop the tongs I see a dead roach on the buffet table. I went discreetly to the manager to let her know about the roaches. The manager then came back to our table raising her voice at us. Manager was rude and didn’t even apologize or acknowledge us after. I couldn’t even eat after that. NEVER coming here again. Definitely would NOT recommend. Very disappointed on how the situation was handled.

The Best Breakfast in Brownsville! And the help and the owner are so Kind and Polite. Just a short 10 min. drive from Los Fresnos, and it is worth it. it's so refreshing to eat at a place where the people are so pleasant.

Very unorganized with catering, they did not deliver with what we paid for, missing Salad, and missing tortillas and salsa and still paid full amount, very unprofessional and didn't even get a price reduction or anything!

My family and I used to love eating at Ricardo's but it has sadly gotten too many locations for it's own good and the quality has suffered because of it. The owner used to be a regular at the Alton Gloor location, but now she's hardly ever there and it shows in the quality of the food and customer service. My wife, her parents and I were given our receipt ticket when that has never been the practice before since both my wife and I are regulars. It should be noted that there was no other patrons waiting for tables at that time. I asked why we were given our tab and they tried to make a joke out of it by saying "if you're not gonna order more food we're required to give it to you". Just sharing my disappointment at the Alton Gloor location and hopefully somebody that cares will read this review and try to work on improving the customer service for all, especially your regular customers who know your business routine/practice. Lastly, my wife and I will not be returning to this location again.
