Waiting 40 minutes for ONE ROLL is insane

Unfortunately, our experience was not a good one. The rice was chewy and unpleasant, and everything we ordered from the sushi to the spicy edamame had a taste and texture that we did not enjoy. I was excited to try something new, but the food simply wasn’t for us. I do want to mention that our server was very sweet and attentive, which made it difficult to complain. I also noticed several other tables dining and seemingly enjoying their meals, so perhaps this was an off day or our tastes are simply different. Either way, the food was disappointing enough that I would not return

It’s my first and last time coming to this restaurant. I ordered gyoza for appetizers and they gave me empanadas as the gyozas. Their menu shows a picture of gyozas in the appetizer section but they falsely advertise you with empanadas instead. The Cosmo Shrimp maki was descent but I was more annoyed about the so called gyozas.

What I didn’t like was the lack of active listening when I asked the server for light ice but they served me a cup full of ice.

I ordered yakisoba. What I got was chorrizo fettuccine noodles with the blandest meat. I got it because it was a happy hour special, I was charged full price because I didn’t tell the waitress I was “specifically” ordering from the happy hour section. She said if I had told her it was specifically from that section on the menu she would have told the chief to “make the smaller portion”. Trust the reviews, just go to H-E-B.

Not only was the service crappy and the waitress looked like she was in agony with her dry attitude and very dim demeanor, but the service sucked. Our plates were brought one at a time and mine never arrived after almost an hour and when I asked for it to go it was yet another 30 min wait. I ended up just cancelling my order all in all. Foods not all that either I could get better sushi from HEB.

The service always takes forever everytime I go or the food takes a while, but I always go back because it’s worth the wait. I love the food 😍

Food was delicious fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was very welcoming and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Please avoid. Complete disregard to customers orders. If I don't order shrimp, maybe it's because of an allergy or intolerance. Establishment decides to mix it in my food. Good thing I checked before consuming.

Not worth it it taste so bad the food was bland

The worst service, rudest waitresses and an incompetent manager. I waited for an hour and 10 min for three rolls, restaurant was not busy either. When I asked for an update, I got eyes rolled at me. The little girl who handed me my order didn’t say thank you or sorry it took double the time that was promised. The manager was just watching, didn’t even open his mouth the entire time.

They take forever to prepare your sushi , they 2 guys behind the sushi glass, talking and talking , one with glasses and beard the other backwards cap. They ruin the experience, forgetting food for your table . They can't seem to work without talking to each other . 40 min my wait time.

Not the friendliest staff, wait time was longer than expected. To go order is placed ahead of time to avoid waiting for an order. Other than the service, the atmosphere is nice.

Rice was mushy, fish room temperature.
Focused on decorating the plates rather than on the food itself. EVERY ROLL has cream cheese! Masking the fish .
Hard pass this place needs a serious revamp!
Dead space in the center of the restaurant.
Nothing At all worth trying, H-E-B has better sushi. That says a lot.

The best place for sushi in all of Brownsville! The music Playlist is always 🔥 and the food?! Incredible. Staff and manager are amazing. Customer service has always been top tier!
