I live about 2 hrs from brownwood and the drive is well worth it for AMAZING ice cream. Such great flavors and you can tell the ice cream is made from quality ingredients!

Over The Rainbow Ice Cream in Brownwood, TX. I have never been so impressed with ice cream in my life. Justin and Julie have really hit a home run with this one. They make everything in house with no artificial ingredients. Their Rocky Road is the best I/we ever had. Blue Bell could take some lessons from these fine folks.

The interior is decorated beautifully and has plenty of space for seating, making this such a fun place to spend time with friends and family.I’ve tried all sorts of different flavors from Over the Rainbow (Starberry, cookies/cream, blue coconut, Ube, Butter Pecan, Peach Cobbler, etc) and I never had one that I didn’t like. What I love about this place is that they add new flavors every month and continuously try to find ways to enhance their menu which is always very exciting.Out of all the flavors I tried, the one that caught me by surprise was the Ube! I never thought I would find a Filipino-flavored ice cream in central Texas but I enjoyed every bite of it. My friend ordered the ube milkshake and said it was one of her favorite things to order.Aside from the delicious ice cream, the chocolate chip cookies here are to die for. Crunchy on the outside but soft and gooey on the inside. I’ve tried their snickerdoodle and sugar cookies which are great but the chocolate chip cookies are a must.Overall, this is one of the cutest ice cream shops I’ve ever visited and I hope everyone gets to stop by and enjoy.

Such a cute place! First of all, the ice cream was delicious! The bigger cup is the perfect size for sharing. Second, the shop has such a nice vibe! I loved all of the plants they had as decorations! Over all a great place to go with friends!

I don't say this lightly, but this is the best chocolate ice cream I have ever had! And probably the best chocolate chip cookies too!Scoops are reasonably priced, with a mix of old favorites and new experiments. The staff were so helpful explaining thenflavors they had, and we got to witness them making some gorgeous creations.The inside has cozy seating and plenty of spots to sit and share some wonderful frozen goodness.
