“Marina is the place to be if you want to enjoy beautiful sunsets on Lake Brownwood. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has fairy lights and there’s live music as well which made the experience great. And since we’re right next to the water, you’re able to walk down to the docks and be right near the water which is always fun.As for the food, my friend got the club sandwich and I ended up getting the burger. In terms of pricing, it is a little more on the expensive side. My friend’s club sandwich was great and the burger wasn’t bad but the bun was too thick in my opinion. Not to mention, the fries were unfortunately soggy and felt like they sat out for a while. I didn’t feel like the quality of the food matched the price but the customer service did. Our server was amazing and super friendly- she frequently checked up on our table and kept us updated on when the food was going to come out.On top of everything, there is also a bar inside as well as a pool table (I believe it was $10/hr). I ended up ordering a margarita and enjoyed the drink while playing pool.Overall, this is a great spot to wind down and enjoy a beautiful view.“
“Gave this place another chance, was greeted by the owner and witnessed how she greeted all who entered. Informed her of the last visit, and she gave me the contact info to inform the company of the app issues that I was having. Guy I spoke with was Anthony - he was so totally awesome. Then on this same day & visit, I spoke with Clayton & Lita who both waited on me and what great service. Food was great, service was awesome, the restaurant is SO CLEAN, INCLUDING THE RESTROOM. THANKS TO THE OWNER AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR HELP. I will be back and I did enjoy my birthday brownie & milk. “Better than expected. Super fresh salad bar. A lot of pizza choices. They will make your choice of pizza if not available. Also have crustless pizza (all toppings baked in a dish) & a few dessert pizzas. $27 for 2 including drinks. Very friendly server. Saw chicken wings & macaroni and cheese... Didn't try.Vegetarian options: Great salad bar and meat free pizzas.“

Just moved to Brownwood in October from Phoenix, Az. McAlister's, reminds me of a favorite Miracle Mile Deli, same great feel. Will definitely visit again!“
“Exceptional food! Very attentive service. We read great reviews and decided that this would be our healthiest option for lunch as we traveled from Denver to Fort Worth. A little taken back by the outer appearance, and small eating space, but don’t let that fool you! I promise that this will be a favorite. Only wish that it were in Denver so that we could frequent it often. This place was a gold mine for delicious eats! I had the special (President’s sandwich). My husband and son ordered other sandwiches, which were also super delicious, but my sandwich reigned supreme, taste-wise. We also ordered the most heavenly mini pecan tartlet, which was out of this world delicious. Sooo thankful that we stopped to eat at this gem of an eatery!“
