Everything was fine. Nothing bad and nothing awesome. The food and service were what we expected for a night out nowadays.

C&C is easy to miss, but if you do, you're really missing out. Tucked away just off Highway 21 in Smetana west of Bryan is some fantastic barbecue. The brisket was moist and had a nice smoke ring and flavor. The ribs had great smoke flavor and easily pulled away from the bone. We normally don't get chicken, but other customers raved about it and it was some of the best smoked chicken I've ever had, both traveling the state and judging BBQ competitions. We also enjoyed the sausage, potato salad and banana pudding. These are some of the nicest people you'll meet, too. There is no indoor seating, but they have tables under a covering for you to relax at if the weather is nice.

We ventured a bit off the beaten path to enjoy this small but excellent spot. We had the small dining room to ourselves and enjoyed some conversation with the owners. Barbecue was generous and tasty. The banana pudding was fabulous. Host and hostess were charming and just a delight. A great find. Will return soon.

I love to find little hidden gems like C&C BAR-B-QUE. On our travel home to San Antonio, I googled BBQ in Bryan/College Station. I chose C&C for its good reviews. The clean restaurant was also mentioned. It was all of those and more. The chopped brisket BBQ sandwich was the absolute best. There is no skimping of this rich-tasting BBQ piled on a soft bun. This isn't your regular chopper BBQ sandwich. The potato salad was one of the best I have eaten. The fresh pinto beans were well spiced. The banana pudding was delicious! All the portion sizes were large. The couple who own the restaurant were some of the nicest people I have ever met. The restaurant is small but has incredible food. This is just a simple low-key place to eat the best BBQ with a couple who put lots of love and pride in what they do. The atmosphere and food coupled with the friendly warm welcoming from the owners make this a place you don't want to miss. My only disappointment is I wish I lived closer so I could eat here often.

Delicious bar-b-que! Must stop here Sunday for lunch. This was our first visit. We were driving through College Station and noticed their awesome ratings and decided to stop. The reviews don't lie. I had the chopped pork sandwich and my husband had the chopped beef brisket sandwich. Delicious! The people next to use were having the fully loaded brisket and chicken plate. That's what we will have on our next trip. They bbq and smoke it on a big pit outside.

Ribs had a really nice smokey flavor. Ribs also were tender but still had a nice bite to them. The smoke flavor didn't come out as much in the brisket but the meat was tender and tasted good. The pinto beans were excellent. Portions were huge. The owner and family were all super nice.

I came to C&C bar-b-que on a whim wanting to try something new and let me say I was NOT disappointed! I got a lunch combo which includes a sandwich, chips, and a drink. I got a chopped brisket sandwich which was chopped in front of me and was piled into hamburger buns. I was offered to try the brisket beforehand since it was my first time and it was DELICIOUS! While I waited for my meal I talked with the owners and one of their employees who were all so nice. I recommend this place to anyone who is longing for some good old fashioned bar-b-que!! 10/10 recommend.

All I can say is "Wow!" No really.. I mean... . First, we are from out of town. Wanted lunch and risked it with this small BBQ spot. They has great reviews but not very many so I decided to leave a review. First impression, it's small place but when I opened the door, I noticed how clean the place is. I was greeted with smiles and "hello, how are you today? " love this. I called ahead for take out. They had the food orders waiting for me. The brisket... Question to ask: Have you ever been able to pull apart a brisket with a plastic fork? No? Well, this place has THAT smoked flavorful pull-apart beef brisket! So delicious! My husband had the ribs. He said it was also smoked goodness. The sausage was really good too. Their portions are big. The sides offered were a good complement. The prices were very reasonable. I'm so glad I took the risk. If your in the mood for some excellent barbecue, you can't go wrong with C & C Barbecue!
