C&C is easy to miss, but if you do, you're really missing out. Tucked away just off Highway 21 in Smetana west of Bryan is some fantastic barbecue. The brisket was moist and had a nice smoke ring and flavor. The ribs had great smoke flavor and easily pulled away from the bone. We ventured a bit off the beaten path to enjoy this small but excellent spot. We had the small dining room to ourselves and enjoyed some conversation with the owners. Barbecue was generous and tasty. The banana pudding was fabulous. Host and hostess were charming and just a delight. A great find. Will return soon.

I love to find little hidden gems like C&C BAR-B-QUE. On our travel home to San Antonio, I googled BBQ in Bryan/College Station. I chose C&C for its good reviews. The clean restaurant was also mentioned. It was all of those and more. The chopped brisket BBQ sandwich was the absolute best. There is no skimping of this rich-tasting BBQ piled on a soft bun.
